You looked around the room.
Staring at the photos on the wall.

One place chair you'd never thought you'd see again was the ones in a principals office,but of course your ambitious 6 year old daughter says otherwise.

The door opened, making your turn around and look. Nova stood there smiling, and waving as if everything was good in the world and she did nothing wrong.

"Hi Mommy"

You sighed giving her a small smile.
"Hi Nova"

The principal cleared her throat and pointed for Nova to sit.
You turned back around and she spoke again.

"Will your husband be joining us?"
"No, he's at work, sorry"
"That's a shame, I was looking forward to meeting him.

Of course you weren't lying. His version of work was.
Rob a bank, "take care of someone", get completely wasted or high and not come home.

Money was still coming in so, work.

The lady crosses her arms and showed you the pictures of the boys face. Your rose your eyebrows and looked back up at her.
"She did all of this? To five boys?"

The principal nodded her head, making your turn towards Nova furrowing your eyebrows. "Nova, what did they do to you?" She shrugged her shoulders. "I didn't like the way they were looking at me"

The door opened and Nova stood up running towards him.
"Daddy" The principle went into utter shock as she spoke.
"Is this your husband? Novas father?"

You looked back at her as he responded.
"Your the woman that made me leave work? The principal"

You rolled your eyes as he mocked her. You looked back at him. "You should see the damage Nova did to five boys"

He sat next to you. Placing his hand up your dress as he looked at the photos in front of you. He look at Nova and signaled her to come over.

"Princess?"
"Yes daddy?"
"Nova, did you do this to these boys"
"You know what happens when you hurt people right?"

You watched as she nodded her head. He turned back to the principal. "Is that all?" She nodded her head still shocked.

You felt him grip your thigh as he turned to nova and said. "Do you have your bag?" She nodded and excitedly put it on. You both stood up and he whispered in your ear. "You know it's your fault she's a fucking brat"

You rolled your eyes. "And it's your fault i'm a 'brat' so don't pin the blame on me"
