Surprisingly, things weren't weird between Louis and I.

He had been even more nice than usual, and very soft—which was kinda cute, to be honest.
Hugging me nonstop, which felt nice because I love receiving hugs. He'd also been offering to walk with me to my classes at school, and continuously making eye contact when talking to me—and made me comfortable to do it back, which is very unusual for me, for I hate making eye contact.

It's strange, but nice I guess.

I get my art essentials from my locker when I suddenly see a small piece of paper sticking out of one of the pockets from my backpack.

Grabbing the folded paper with curiosity, I open it up to see familiar handwriting scribbled over the paper very lazily yet neatly.

Heyy:) I know this is dumb but when I was in math class, I heard someone say "bugger" and it reminded me of you since you like to use that word all the time.

I sweetly smile to myself as I slide the note into the pocket on the side of my pants, closing my locker and walking to my last class for the day, which is art.

I've been beginning to love art a lot the more we sketched and painted. Sadly, we only paint every once in a few weeks—well it's disappointing for me since I like painting so much.

Not sure why, but I feel more at peace when in art class. It's my favorite class of the day, it's more like free time than an actual class with a subject to study.

Walking into the almost silent classroom with muffled conversations being spoken by a few students here and there, I see Louis sitting in the front row. He turns around to smile at me as I go to sit beside him.

"Hello." I grin, setting my stuff down on the small table in front of us.

"Hey." He quickly glares at a girl sitting in the row behind us, hair so shiny and blonde you can catch it a mile away. "That girl was trying to flirt with me minutes before you came in." He whispers, pointing at her.

I snort, trying to avoid looking at her. "Please, she's the one I always rant to you about when walking home. The one who always brags to me about being rich and being too perfect for gym class."

"Wait, really? That's her?"

"Yup. Now tell me, what was she saying while flirting with you?" I ask, almost intrigued.

In the corner of my eye, I see the teacher walking up to the board and turning to everyone in the room with a greeting smile.

"I'll tell you later." Louis whispers, sitting up straight.

I nod, turning to look at the teacher as well.

"Good afternoon students!" My art teacher, Mr. Fayado greets. "Today, you will spend the whole period sketching a portrait. The portrait could be of anyone of your choice, you may paint it as well if you want. Make sure to grab a partner and get your essentials on the table by the door. Now, you may go ahead and start! Have fun."

I watch as everyone rushes off their seats scrambles around the room to find their partner. In the corner of my eye, I see Caleb walking over to Louis.
