I sit on my couch, watching television as I pet my beloved cat, Kayani.
She's the sweetest! I got her at the shelter a couple of months ago, I was getting lonely here in New York when I first moved here, considering that the rest of my family is all the way in Europe. So I decided to get a little friend, and the moment I laid eyes on Kayani, I just knew she was the one.
However, she does mess with the threads I have for my crochet activities. It's alright, though, I get over it.
Suddenly, I get a text notification. I pick up my phone and see a message from Y/n.
