"Hey." Clarke says, as she runs up to Octavia and I. We were walking, marching, on our way to the mountain that held all our friends.

"What do you want?" Octavia asks, annoyed.

"I'm changing your mission." Clarke informs the both of us, "You're not going to the mines with Indra. I'm placing you both in the rear guard, where you'll be safe."

"Alright, fine, whatever." I say, not wanting to argue with Clare anymore.

"Like hell you are. I don't take orders from you. I take orders from Indra." Octavia protested.

"I'm trying to protect you, Octavia." Clarke tells her, while shooting me a thankful glance.

"Protect me." She scoffs.

"One day, hopefully, you'll understand what I did." Clarke tries to tell her.

"Never. I'll fight this war with you now because I want our friends back. But after that, we're done." Octavia tells the blonde.

"The commander's looking for you." A grounder tells Clarke as he comes up. Clarke nods, giving us both a look before heading off to find the commander.

"What was that about?" Indra asks Octavia.

"Clarke's trying to reassign us to the rear guard." Octavia tells her.

"You're a warrior. You'll be in the mines with me." Indra tells her, without giving me a spare glance.

"Alright." I muttered, looking over at Octavia who had an uneasy look on her face. Indra seemed to notice too.

"I know what bothers you. They know about the missile." Indra states simply.

"How could you not hate them?" Octavia asks her, seeing the look on Indra's face made her burst, "Indra, they almost killed you."

"They didn't do anything. The enemy did." Indra tells her, "Lexa's a great commander because she's ruthless. That's why we'll win this battle."

"That's wrong." Octavia states.

"Thats war." Indra replies. After that, cries of battle began. I look around to see all of the grounders doing it. I look to Octavia who too, screamed out. I smiled a little, Octavia has found somewhere she actually belonged.

"Welcome, Sky Crew, join us." Lexa says to the people around the tent built just for the meeting. Octavia and Lexa have already started for the mines whilst I stayed back with Clarke.

"A pacage from Raven. Hydrazine. She said it would do the job." Sargent Miller, Nathan Miller's, father tells Clarke, handing her a small pod with the all too familiar pink liquid.

"Good." Clarke says, grabbing the bottle.

"And, uh, your mother wanted to be here, too." He added, awkwardly.

"I know, but the wounded in Tondc need her more." Clarke nodded understandingly. She then turns to me, "I'm going to need help talking to them. Help me?" she says, a look of nervousness in her eyes. I haven't seen that look in so long.

"Of course, Clarke." I nodded, after everything, she was still family, more than anyone on the ark for that matter.

"Field Commanders, today's the day we get our people back. The enemy thinks it's safe behind its doors, but it's not. When it realizes that, it will fight back." Clarke started, "Hard. We need to be ready. This is a rescue mission. We are not here to wipe them out."

"There are people inside that mountain that have helped us, children who have nothing to do with this war." I informed, remembering Maya and the children that Bellamy had said he'd seen.

"We kill their soldiers, their leadership if we have to, but we are there to rescue our people. Is this clear?" She looks around for confirmation. Indistant chatter from the grounders and the sky people made Clarke took that as agreement.

"Let's begin." I muttered, looking at Clarke who had a model out infront of her.

"There are 4 teams. Two of them... At the dam and in the mine." She points at what's suppose to be the dam and the mines. "Are moving into position already. The third" she points toward the mountain, "inside the mountain, is freeing the Grounder prisioners as we speak." She looks around at the people to make sure they understand.

"It is our job as the fourth team to keep the eyes of the enemy off of them for as long as possible." I added.

"To do that, we have to be in position here at the main door with our entire army." Clarke continues, "The mountain men believe the door can't be opened from the outside, so they leave it unguarded. Only it can be, and thanks to our source on the inside, now we know how. According to Maya, the electromagnetic locking system has one flaw. When the power goes out, it disengages. That's where Raven's team comes in. The mountain's electricity is generated at Philpott Dam."

"By now, they've taken the turbine room." I say, "It's their job to bloIf the lock is still functioning when that backup power kicks in, we'll never get that door open, we'll never get our people back."

"How much time do we have until the backup power kicks in?" Someone asks.

"One minute. That's the window." Clarke informs.

"Small window. Why don't we just take out eh backup generator, too? Bellamy's inside, have him do it." Someone asks again.

"Leaving them without power that long would kill them all, and as I said, that's not the mission. Besides, we lost contact with Bellamy." Clarke says, looking around.

"What? We did? When?" I asked, panicking.

"After he took out the acid fog." Clarke informs me, placing a hand on my shoulder for comfort.

"Bellamy's a warrior. He'll be fine." Commander Lexa tells me and everyone else.

"As the commander said, once the door is open, the shooting will start, and they'll throw everything the have a us, but that's what we want. We want them looking at us because while we're fighting at the front door, Indra's team will be escourting the prisoners out the back, right through the reaper tunnels. Once all our people are free, they'll sound the retreat. We'll be back home before Mount Weather even knows theyre gone, and that's it. That's the plan." Clarke tells us.

"The mountain has cast a shadow over these woods for too long. They've hunted us, controlled us, turned us into monsters. That ends today. Thanks to our alliance with the Sky People, the mountain will fall. As Clarke said, we spare the innocent. As for the guilty..." She trailed off.

"Jus drien, jus daun." The chant can be heard from all around the room. I looked around to see the Arkers chant it too.

This was it, the beginning of a new war.

Enjoy guys! Sorry this is extremely late, less than a week ago, they made a horrible announcement. Zayn Malik has left One Direction. I'm mentally and physically not okay. I've been following these guys since 2012 and it's heartbreaking for me. If you don't care, it's fine. 😂

With love,
