I was sat down by a couple of rocks, waiting for something to happen. Clarke was off with Lexa, whilst Lincoln was in the front, keeping watch. Suddenly gunfires went off. I quickly bolted to my feet and rushed over to Lincoln who was looking towards the dams.

"It's coming from the dam. They know we're going for the power. They know we're going for the door." Lincoln mutters. I look over towards the dams, worried for Raven's and Wick's safety.

"Raven'll get it done. Trust her." I try to convince LIncoln. Nathan Miller's father, David, comes up to where Clarke stood with Commander Lexa.

"As soon as the lights go off, you push that button. We'll do the rest." He tells Clarke, giving her a small remote. She nods and takes the small device. I stood in anticipation, watching the small light atop of the metal doors. The lights flickered off as a large explosion sounded from the dams.

"She did it. One minute starting now." I say, looking at Clarke.

"For those we've lost... And those we'll soon find." Clarke mutters, pressing the button. Nothing happens. She presses it again, and again, and again.

"Why isn't it working?" I ask, breathing heavily, worried.

"They're jamming us. I have to get closer." She inches closer to the door, but gunshots make her stumble back quickly. I duck behind some rocks to avoid getting shot.

"Clarke!" I gasp as she ducks with me. "45 seconds!" I shout over the firing of bullets.

"If I can get there, I can trigger it manually." David says, to us.

"No. You can't get there." Clarke protests.

"For Nate I have to try." He breathes out. Lexa turns to some of her comrades, and the next thing you know, warriors are surrounding David as they try to get to the metal door.

"30 seconds!" I call out again. Gunfires keep aiming towards David and the grounders, one hits a grounder and everything crumbles. I watch in shock as David and the grounders go down.

"We'll find another way in." Clarke says as Lincoln moves in.

"There is no other way in. You know that." He relies back, as he moves in, dodging all the bullets.

"10 seconds." I mutter.

"5... 4... 3... 2... 1... It worked?" Clarke laughed.

"We need to get to that ridge and take out the shooters." I mutter. Lexa stands up.

"When the shooting stops, you get that door open." Lexa commands us and leaves with some of her warriors. After a while, the shooting stops.

"Lincoln. Lexa did it." Clarke states excitedly at Lincoln. I look toward the mass where David and some of the grounders were, when I saw it moving.

"Ckarke, look!" I say pointing to where David was trying to get out from under the heap of metal.

"Make sure he's okay." She orders some grounders, "Train your fire on the doors."

"Pull." Lincoln orders the grounders and Arkers who've connected a rope to the metal door and were now pulling to get it opened. When it finally opened, a bunch of grounders pilled out of the doors, blankets wrapped around them, as they hobbled out.

"Hey, look! They're coming out!" A man yells.

"They're surrendering?" Clarke asks, confused.

"Not quite." Lexa sounded from behind. I whirrled around to see her, blood smeared on her face, a mountain man behind her, rope binding his hands.

"What did you do?" Clarke asks her.

"What you would've done. Saved my people." She replies.

"Where are my people?" Clarke continues.

"I'm sorry Clarke. They weren't part of the deal." She says simply then turns to the mountain man.

"You made the right choice, Commander." He says, as the commander cuts the rope that binds his hands.

"What is this?" Lincoln and I ask him, furious.

"Your commander's made a deal." he replies calmly.

"What about the prisioners from the Ark?" Lincoln asks him again.

"They'll all be killed." He replies simply. I gasped, and backed up. I could feel the tears pricking, trying to get through.

"But you don't care about that, do you?" Clarke confronts Lexa.

"I do care, Clarke, but I made this choice with my head and not my heart. The duty to protect my people comes first."

"Please don't do this." Clarke begs.

"I'm sorry, Clarke." She says.

"Commander, not like this. Let us fight." Lincoln tries.

"No. The deal is done." She says, "You too. All our people withddraw. Those are the terms."

"They'll be slaughtered. Let me help them." Lincoln pleads. The commander says something to the other grounders and the next thing, Lincoln is being dragged away. The horn sounded, and the grounders began to pile out, heading back to their camp.

"May we meet again." Lexa tells Clarke before leaving Clarke and I to stand there, staring at their retreating figures.

"Clarke, Reina, let's go. We'll come back with reinforcements. Come on. It's over. I'm sorry." David tells us before leaving.

"It can't be over." Clarke mutters. I look over at her, with a vicious look on my face.

"It's not over. They're going to pay." I gritted my teeth and spat out.

Enjoy the chapter guys! I'd probably have one more chapter left, then this book is over. Please let me know if I should write a third book when Season 3 rolls around. After this, I'll be working on "Game On", then I have another story for yalls. It's not over yet. 😉

With love,
