*Remus' POV*
That morning (or later that morning as we fell asleep at 1am), I woke up to Lupa sitting on my chest, swatting my nose, I laughed.
"Yn, can you remove your cat from my face please" I called across the dormitory, where she was busily writing something.
"Oh, Lupa, leave Rem alone" she called, jumping up from the floor and picking up Lupa. Her hand brushed against me and I tensed slightly, she seemed to as well.
Then she scurried back to her writing. I wondered what she was so interested in writing, surely not a homework essay.
I jumped out of my bed and felt the cold breeze blowing into the dormitory, I shivered and pulled on a brown jumper over the top of my pyjamas. The I walked barefoot over to Yn's bed and sat down yawning and rubbing my eyes.
Yn looked cold, her skin was purplish and she had goosebumps.
"Aren't you cold" I asked her, she looked up from her writing and thought for a moment.
"Yeah actually, I'm freezing" she realised, and she reached under the bed and pulled out from her trunk a red knitted jumper. My stomach flipped, I gave her that for her birthday. She pulled it over her head, and said
"Thanks again for the jumper, it's my favourite" she said. I blushed and said
"You're welcome".
She went back to writing extremely quickly.
"What are you writing" I asked grinning as she started biting her thumb joint, something she did when she was thinking.
"It's a story about a girl who was bullied every day of her life until an owl arrived with a life changing letter" she said "she makes friends with four boys and they get into heaps of trouble together" she finished. I smiled, it was her story, but that meant...
She must have seen the change in my face because she whispered
"Yes, Remus, every day, they'd take my books, taunt me, call me dork and nerd" she started digging her nails into her fore arms, something she did when she felt insecure.
"Yn, don't let them get to you, you're an amazing person, you're smart, funny, kind, creative and all just uplifting to be around, don't let around" I said quietly. She sniffed, "Remus, that was beautiful, you're an amazing friend" she said, wrapping her arms around me tightly, I hugged her back, and whispered "you have a wild spirit, let it be free".

*after yn left to go talk to Lily*
"Earth to Remus, are you on this planet" shouted Sirius
I jumped.
"What are you thinking about anyway" asked James
I sighed, I needed to do something about this, even if it was just telling someone.
"I was thinking about yn" I said
"Oooohh" squealed James
"Why, she was just here like ten minutes ago" asked Sirius, Peter, as always, looked confused.
"I like her" I whispered.
"Ten galleons James" shouted Sirius
"Ughh" James groaned, handing Sirius ten galleons.
"I'm gonna tell her" Sirius smirked
"If you f***ing dare, I swear to Merlin I will kill you" I said, grabbing Sirius and pinning his arms behind his back.
"Ahh, let me go, I promise I won't" said Sirius
"Swear on James' life" I asked
"Yes, I swear" he cried. I let him go and he smirked
"You know we already could tell" he said
"What, how"
"Blushing, compliments, constantly agreeing with her" James smirked.
"You should just propose now Moony, she would say yes" said James grinning from ear to ear, until he got punched by me.
