Once we got to my house, I could tell yn was a bit nervous, as she started biting her nails.
"Don't worry, Mum will love you, and stop biting your nails, you'll get purple nail polish in your mouth" I warned her
"Ok, can we go in" yn asked quietly
"Of course, follow me" I said as I took her hand and walked inside.
"Mum, MUM, HOPE LUPIN COME HERE" I yelled
"Gees Remus, can I not make sandwiches" said Mum as she walked into the living room, holding a butter knife.
"No, you can't, this is Y/N L/N Mum, yn, this is my Mum, Hope" I introduced
"Hello dear, I'm pleased to welcome you here" said Mum
"Thankyou for having me Mrs Lupin, it is wonderful to meet you" said yn.
"Please have a seat" said Mum, gesturing to the kitchen table.
"So yn dear, Remus has told me so much about you, and I must know, is it true that you yelled at Professor Nightingale" asked Mum rather excitedly
"Yes, he was saying that Werewolves are monsters, and as I've told Remus, time and time again, they, he at least, is the farthest thing from a monster" yn said
"So you know then" asked Mum
"Yes, and please know this, I don't see him any differently to the way I saw him in first year, to me he's still the same sweet boy, and the first person who ever accepted me as the strange person I am" yn said and I blushed a little.
"I'm glad Remus has a friend like you" said Mum smiling at yn.
"Now, who wants sandwiches" asked Mum
"Yes please Mrs Lupin" said yn
"Remus, come help me finish making the lunch" instructed Mum
"Oh please Mrs Lupin, may I help as well" asked yn
"If you'd like, usually guests don't help though" said Mum eyeing yn slightly confused.
"Oh I am aware, but I love helping in the kitchen" said yn smiling.
So we all went to the kitchen and finished making egg sandwiches (or if you don't eat eggs for whatever reason something else).
"That was delicious, thankyou for having me Mrs Lupin" said yn afterwards.
"You're always welcome here dear" said Mum smiling. Someone knocked on the door, I answered, it was Sunny.
"Hello Remus, can you tell yn that she has to come home, Mum says she has to tidy her room before the Lily-girl gets here" said Sunny. Yn went home and I turned back to Mum.
"So, what do you think of her" I asked Mum.
"I think she is very sweet, and definitely a good one" said Mum grinning.
"Now I just have to figure out how to win her over" I sighed as I went back to my bedroom.
*Hope's POV*
Well now I was sure of two things.
One: Remus likes an awesome girl.
Two: Remus is an oblivious idiot.
