You slipped into a seemingly empty compartment, just as the train started moving. In the corner you noticed a sleeping boy. He seemed somewhat familiar. Before you could put your finger on where you knew him from, a messy haired boy, wearing round rimmed glasses burst in. "Hello, can I sit here?" he asked "Sure!" You replied "I'm James Potter!" he said "Yn ln" you replied "Remus Lupin" said the boy who had just woken up "Hey, we've met, at the magical pets store" you exclaimed "Oh yeah" Remus smiled "Hey, I'm Sirius Black" said a raven haired boy, who was peering round the door, "can I sit here" "Sure!" You said "Wait Black as in the noble and most ancient house of Black" asked James "Yeah yeah, purebloods are Supreme and crap" said Sirius mockingly. James snorted. "Can I sit here" asked another boy, who was slightly chubby "Sure, but no one else" you said "I'm Peter Pettigrew by the way" said the chubby boy. "Anything off the trolley dears" asked a woman who was pushing a sweet cart. We all scrambled for it, except Remus. *Remus' POV* My father had refused to let me have any money for sweets. And he also told me that I shouldn't make friends, because I am a danger to people. "Remus, don't you want anything" asked yn "No money" I mumbled I picked up my book and started reading. I felt something land on my lap. "Chocolate frogs" said yn "What are you throwing Chocolate frogs at me for" I asked "Well, you're supposed to eat them" said yn "R-really thanks" I exclaimed, my eyes wide "What are friends for" said yn Friends, wow. *yn POV* friends, well this is new. "Can I ask, why do you wear your hair in pigtails?" asked James "Well clearly you can ask, as you just did, it's more a matter of will I answer, yes I will, because I couldn't be bothered to do anything else." You said "Ok, very long answer, why can't you be bothered, girls usually love doing their hair" said James "Meh, I only bother on special occasions, besides I have more important things to do" you said "Like what" asked Sirius "Reading, writing, studying. Sitting around doing my hair all day won't get me anywhere in life" you explained "Gees, you're like 11 and you're already thinking about your career, I haven't even decided which sweet to buy off the trolley" said James, motioning to his pile of sweets, which consisted of one of everything. "Me either" said Sirius, motioning to James' pile as well. "Oi, these are mine" said James "Guys, calm down, look, let's pool them all together and then we can all eat whatever we want" you said "Good idea" "Do I have to" asked Peter, who had already eaten all of his "Well that might be a bit of a problem" you smirked. After a while you'd eaten all the sweets, so you pulled out your book. Five run away together. Remus looked up from his and snorted. "What" you asked Remus held up his book, you couldn't even read the words, but you knew what book it was straight away. "Five run away together" you said "It's my favourite book" said Remus "No, it's my favourite book" you said "Are you two arguing over a book" asked James "Sort of" you replied, you turned back to Remus, "did you know that Enid Blyton wrote 762 published books" you said "Really, Gees, I've only read the famous five" said Remus "I've read, the famous five, the secret seven, 1-3 of the faraway tree, 5 of the mystery series, malory towers book 1, St Clare's books 1,2,3, and 8, noddy, the wishing chair, Amelia Jane, the o'clock tales, and holiday stories" you said. "When do you sleep" asked James "Did someone pay you to" asked Sirius "No, I read for fun" you said "D-D'you think I could borrow some from you" asked Remus quietly. "Sure, I've read most of them multiple times anyway" you said "Holy, moly, thanks" said Remus "I'm still looking for the naughtiest girl though" you said. Lupa meowed from her basket. You picked her up and she walked over to Remus. "Oh, you did pick her" said Remus smiling "Yeah, her name's Lupa" you said "Lupa" asked Remus "Well, you helped me pick her, and she also looks like a wolf, Lupa means wolf" you said smiling "You named her after me, you'd only known me 10 minutes" said Remus "You're my first friend in the wizarding world" you whispered "Meow" said Lupa, and she batted Remus' book. "Oh yeah, she likes being read to" you said. Remus stroked her, and began to read quietly. James smirked "are you reading to a cat" he asked, "you know she can't understand you" Lupa walked over to James and bit him on the hand. "I think she understands perfectly well" you said, Remus and you both smirked.
