*Yn's POV*
The Summer holidays were in a week and you were excited.
Firstly, Professor Nightingale had been fired, so you wouldn't have to deal with him anymore.
Secondly, your birthday was in July, and you'd be turning 14, (a/n sorry if your birthday isn't in July, but mine is, and it's important to the story, so just pretend).
Thirdly, you found out that Remus was your neighbour, and he'd be hanging out with you for most of the summer.
And Finally, Lily would be staying with you for most of the summer, and the boys were staying with Remus.
*Time skip brought to you by an arrogant toe rag*
"Lily, please sit with us, just one train trip" you begged
"No, I will when we come back, if you come sit with us girls" Lily demanded
"Ok, but the boys aren't gonna like this" you agreed.
But it turned out that the boys were fine with you sitting with the girls.
As you clambered onto the train, Lily led you to a compartment near the front. Inside were Alice, Marlene and Molly.
"Guys, I brought yn" Lily said excitedly
"Hi" you said awkwardly, despite sharing a dorm with Marlene and Alice, you'd barely spoken to any of the girls.
"I'm hungry" announced Marlene, that reminded you of Sirius, the careless one.
"Marlene" roused Lily, that reminded you of Remus, the responsible one.
"Nice to see you yn, I'll tell you a secret, I'm the boss of this lot" said Molly, that reminded you of James, the leader of the group.
"Hello" said Alice quietly and simply, that reminded you of Peter, the quiet one.
"Anything off the trolley dears" asked the woman pushing it.
"One of everything please" you said
"You are my new best friend" said Marlene when you layed all the food down.
"Ooooh, Remus will be jealous" said Lily
"What is yours and Remus' relationship" asked Marlene
"He's my best friend" you replied quickly
"Mmmhmm" said Molly grinning
"Come on nn, the whole school knows there's something between you two" said Lily
"Leave her be, if she trusts us she'll say" said Alice in her dreamy voice
"Thanks Al" you said smiling
"Can I plait your hair" asked Alice shyly
"Sure" you replied turning so Alice could.
"So, Molly, what's the deal with you and Arthur" asked Marlene cheekily
"Well, he actually asked me to Hogsmede" said Molly blushing
"Ooooooh, so he's you're boyfriend" exclaimed Marlene
"You two are made for each other" said Alice dreamily
"Soooo, Marlene, who catches your eye" asked Lily giggling
"No one" said Marlene quickly
"I think they definitely like you back you know" said Alice. Molly and Lily looked confused, Alice clearly knew, or guessed, something they didn't.
"What about you Lily," you asked grinning, "cause I have Intel from the boys, and James Potter is in love with you"
"Well, you can tell James Potter he's an arrogant toe rag" said Lily winking.
"Why do you push him away" asked Alice
"He's too arrogant, it'll do him some good if I reject him, even if it's just for a while" Lily explained.
By the end of the train ride, you had realised that hanging out with the girls was actually a lot of fun, and you wanted to hang out with them more.
"Hey guys, Lily's coming to my place for a while these holidays, would you like to visit too" you asked nervously
"Ooooooh that sounds like fun" said Alice
"Thanks for inviting me, that sounds great" said Molly
"Yeah, sounds cool" said Marlene. So it was settled that the others would arrive a week after Lily.
