"Nash I-I.. Can you please just take me home. I don't think this was a good idea." I said before walking in the front door. I looked up to see Nash looking around the yard while running his fingers through his hair. Finally he turned his attention back at me and licked his lips.

"Alright, sorry I knew this wasn't your kind of thing. Let's go." He said leading me back to his car. Thank god.

"Carly?"

I turned around to see Maya standing there looking at us. She smiled wide once she saw it was me and walked over. She opened her arms for a hug. Of course I hugged her. She wore a navy blue cropped top and white shorts with her long blonde hair curled perfectly. I felt like I haven't seen her in forever, it felt great having my best friend here. Is she my best friend?

"Cute shirt." She smiled

"Uh thanks. You too." I smiled back

"Um you still wanna leave Carly?" Mumbled Nash to me

"Leave? You guys just got here." Said Maya

I turned back to Nash and gave him a look.

"Uhh maybe just for a little." I said smiling back at Maya

"Yay! Let's go Carly. You can get her back later." She said to Nash

"Alright." Nash said before looked towards me and nodding as he walked away to be with his friends.

"You came with Nash. Oolala."

"We were just working on the project." I explained

"Yeah whatever." She smiled as we entered the party.

There was loud music playing and people everywhere. Some drunk and some just hanging around. It was so normal to them. One guy had a girl practically stripping for him. It just didn't seem right to me. I don't know, maybe there's something wrong with me instead. But honestly who's want to spend every weekend getting drunk and forgetting what even happened afterwards? Not me, that's for sure.

Maya started to lead me to some other living room. Even though I swear I've already seen 3 living rooms.

"Want something to drink?" She asked once we sat down somewhere

"Uh-."

"Carly..? Dawson right?" Smirked a girl with black short straight hair named Emma.

"Yeah that's her name, Emma." Said Maya almost rolling her eyes at her. I thought they were friends. They sit next to each other at lunch. I know that for sure.

"I'll get you guys drinks." She smiled walking away to get us drinks

"That was nice of her." I said

"No Carly, you can't trust her." Maya explained

"Why not?" I said with a confused face while crossing my arms. Did Maya not want me to have friends?

"Because Carly-!"

"Here guys." She smiled handing us both red solo cup.

"Thank you Emma, well nice seeing yea." Said Maya pulling me by the arm away whispering to me "lets go."

"What why?" I almost whispered back to Maya

"Yeah why?" Smiled Emma

I wanted to stay but Maya cleanly wanted to really get away from Emma but I really saw nothing wrong with her. I decided to just take a sip of my drink that Emma gave me. It was disgusting I started cough of how bad it was.

"I said don't drink that." Maya said

"Technically you didn't. Besides It's not that bad." I lied as I took a bigger sip this time of the drink. This time Maya pulled me so hard I stumbled backwards, letting out a yelp before bumping straight into a hard chest pouring my drink on the the white t-shirted guy.

"Oh my god I-I'm so sorry." I said pretty loud. It was some guy I have never seen before. His hands were up like he was getting arrested and his eyes were closed.

"Hey you know it's okay." He said finally opening his eyes and looking down at his shirt, then at me.

"N-No I'm sooo sorry oh my god." I said getting napkins trying to fix the stain.

"Carly." Maya whispered to me looking straight at the guy. I looked back up to the guy to see him staring at me. What the.

"I'm Tyler by the way."

"C-Carly."

"Do you wanna come hang with us?" He asked but more like demanded as he pulled me by my arm slightly. He was extremely good looking but seemed like someone who I shouldn't be around.

"U-uhh I-" I stuttered

"No she doesn't."
