Chapter 3

*Later in the day*

I walked down the hall to see Cameron and he's crew just waiting for me to walk past them. I stared at the floor and quickly walked past Cameron and his friends. As I walked past them one of Cameron's stupid friends pushed me into a locker, making me drop everything. I picked up all my books and papers while everyone laughed at how funny it was when I fell. Yeah how funny. I got up and ran down the hall making my way to the closest exit. Right when I was about to leave from all this shit. I was stopped, I looked up to see Maya.

"Where are you going?" She said with a confused face

I looked all around to see if Cameron was anywhere in sight. It was only me and Maya in the hallway.

"Maya we can't talk anymore." I whispered as I walked in the other direction.

"W-What why?" I could hear the hurt in her voice, but I didn't dare to turn around to see her face.

"I-I.. We just can't okay!" I said loudly as I ran out of the hallway.

I walked into my math class and took my seat in the back. This is my only class without Cameron in it, but that doesn't make anything better i still have everyone else to worry about. From the back of me and I heard these two girls talking about Maya's party.

"Yeah I mean I was really excited about Maya's party, I can't believe she just canceled it for no reason." Said one by the name of Sara.

"I know that was gonna be such a good party." Said the other one

"When did she cancel it?" Asked another one

"Just a couple minutes ago actually." Said the first girl

Oh my god. Look what I did I made Maya cancel her own party because of me. I need to tell her not to cancel it because soon it'll get out that the party was canceled because of me. Then I would get bullied for that too.

I looked up at the clock to see I still had 2 minutes until the bell rang. I quickly jumped from my seat and ran out of the class room to find Maya. I ran down the hallway see to Maya at her locker.

"Maya Maya!" I screamed as I ran over to her out of breath

"Y-You can't cancel your party!" I said

"I won't cancel the party if you come." She said crossing her arms over her chest like she did this morning.

If I go to Maya's party and Cameron sees me there I'm dead. But I really can't have Maya cancel this party everyone was so excited for it. But maybe some how Cameron won't be there or won't see me there. Or maybe he will be too drunk to even care. I don't know anything to just get to this party without Cameron finding me there.

"Fine I-I promise I will go." I said with my eyes closed tight. Why did i just agree to go.

"Great! See you tomorrow night!" She said as she ran off to class.

*Bell Rings*

"Great I'm late." I mumbled as I ran off to class. How am I suppose to go to Maya's party when Cameron will definitely be there. Why did I make a promise.
