An intrepid grin lingered in the corner of his roseate lips as he strolled around the building, Ji-Ae right behind him, popping her most exaggerated yawn ever.

The sensation of utter disinterest grew on her as she followed the Demi-god's tracks, her silver irises falling on the back of his neck that glistened in a dazzling hue of chaste honey under the sun, and a slight blush instantly emerged on her cheeks.

Several chocolate-tinted moles adorned his unclothed skin, their emplacement and distance between each reminding her of a constellation she had a certain fondness for but somehow failed to remember its name.

He was undeniably inordinately attractive, and she internally wondered how much longer would she be able to control herself.

Upon arriving at the back of the building, Donghyuck pushed the entry door- that seemed not so door-like to Ji-Ae- open, huffing on his bangs that religiously clutched to his forehead as he stepped inside.

Behind an odd-looking counter stood a young woman that- according to Ji-Ae- looked non-human in every conceivable way.

Her hair, glorious and fuchsia-colored, streamed down to her knees, various seasonal flower petals clinging to every segment of it, and Ji-Ae mentally debated on how they weren't falling out.

"What's up, Aleiki?" Donghyuck pronounced, his smile widening as the girl slightly bowed to him.

"Good morning, Dongh- I mean, mighty god of war, yes."

"What are you?" The young goddess stammered, mouth agape as she stretched out her arm, her god instincts raising as her finger skimmed the girl's frail mint-hued skin.

"Aleiki is the nature nymph who watched over this land for centuries,when humans demolished nature in this area and built cities the higher ups confiscated her powers." He shrugged, eyes raked over the nymph whose eyes began to water.

"Oh."

"I'm sorry, I forgot this was still a sensitive subject to you."

"It's okay, no need to apologize."

"You guys hear this sound too?" Ji-Ae cut through the silence that had settled, nose scrunched as she focused on thumping noise.

"Oh shit, she's coming."
