Mercury(And The Chaos In Their Life) Part 3

Chapter 9, F***K!!

I wake up, the usual, it was sunny and bright. It was painful to my eyes that I couldn't even see anything, as I got up, I fell over face first on the ground.

I start aggressively cursing under my breath as I got up. I calm down, and went to go get ready for the day. I walk into the kitchen feeling tired from last night, I collapsed on the couch.

"You feeling alright?" I hear Lilith say and I didn't bother looking back.

"Yeah...Just..tired.." I finally got up and looked back at Lilith. "Pretty understandable why, but I don't feel that tired..not even Arcane too." Lilith stands right next to me. I nodded, "You guys can handle it better I guess.." I quietly said as I leaned on the couch.

"Well I'm going back to my room, if you need to talk to me sometime. Go ahead!" Lilith walks away, I wave goodbye and nodded. I stood there as they entered into their room. I walked off and wanted to meet Vix at work. I left the house, and it was warm and windy today. I felt good but at the same time it was sunny, which bothered me a lot.

-Vix's POV-

I finish someones order with a smile as I gave them their food. They left and I went back to a frown, and I stood their staring off again. "Hey, uh..you wanna go home now.." I hear my manager faintly say as I ignore them and got drowned into my thoughts.

The door rings and I snap back, "Mercury?" I said with a smile and I exit the counter and hugged them. "I'm so glad to be here again!" Mercury hugs me tightly. "And I'm glad to see you!" I grab their hand and walked them to the counter. "How's work going right now?" Mercury sits on the counter, "Pretty quick, not a lot of people come by." I stretch my arms out and continued to hold Mercury's hand. "Hey..Welcome back!" My manager says, "Hi!.....Wait what is your name.." Mercury hops off the counter. "It's Fizz..Vix just calls me manager or boss." Fizz leaned on the counter.

Hours pass by, Mercury helped me with giving the food to the people. I did the talking. Mercury did the serving. It is 5PM and it was time for us to go, "Man that was a lot of work!" Mercury stretches their arms out and clings on to my arm. "It was..Thank you." I hold their hand, "Yeah, no problem.." We leave the place and went back home as usual. We mainly talked along the way home.

-Mercury's POV-

I couldn't resist the urge of being watched again, I listen to as Vix is speaking but the watching has been bothering me. We finally reach the house and got in.

"Oh hey! You're home!" Lilith looks over from the kitchen and was cooking something, Arcane was there too waving. "Yeah, work was less stressful thanks to Mercury." Vix looks at me and I immediately looked away and start to blush. Vix slowly hugs me and I hugged them back.

A couple of hours pass by, it is 7PM. "I'll be going out on my own for a bit...Probably just walk around." I sat up from the couch and put the book down. "Okay..Be safe." Vix was sitting right next yo me. "Be safe!" I hear Lilith say. "Yeah!" I nodded and left.

As I reached the city, I walk into a store that sold many things. Recently new stuff came in and I didn't feel like checking it out. As I looked for stuff I liked I noticed a sharp knife in a shelf, it was standing up in a pack and I grabbed it.

I was excited to buy it, I grab my wallet from my hair and walked to the cash register. I finished and walked into an alleyway and opened the knife box.

The knife was beautiful, as it shined into my eyes. As I get distracted by it, I get pushed to the ground aggressively. I hit my head but it didn't leave any marks. I look up, the person looked familiar.

Fen...."Fen?" I quietly say.

"I'm taking you with me.." Fen gets closer towards me as I backed away further.

I didn't want to kill them
I didn't want to become the person like I did in the past
but the urge to kill is getting worse as I back away

I chuckled and started laughing, "HAHAHAH..YOU?? TAKE ME? NOT HAPPENING!!" I say aggressively and charged towards them and stabbed them in the chest. I repeatedly stabbed them and then stopped, "Hey.." I said. It was quiet.

"Oh they're dead." I take the knife out as I talked to myself. "FUCK." I get angry of what I've done. I step on Fen's body over and over again until it was ruined. I grabbed their intestines and ripped it out, I ate it.

I rip their arm off and started to nibble on it slowly, I bit into it. I only ate half of it and left the body there, I craved for more, but I shook it off. As I walked home, I licked the blood off my fingers. I reached the house and breathed in and out. I open the door and no one was there, everyone was asleep.

I walk to the room and Vix was sleeping, I went to the bathroom to clean everything. I turned on the sink and washed the knife and finished. I set it there by the sink on a towel. I turned on the water for the bath and watched the water slowly go up. I turned it off and went inside the bathtub.

It felt great as I scrubbed myself with soap, I even stayed their for a while and eventually got out and drained the water away. I dry myself off and checked for blood anywhere. I put the towel down and I grab the knife and exit the bathroom.

I turn the lights off and hid my knife in my table on my bedside. I laid right next to Vix staring at them as they slept. I fall asleep normally again for the rest of the night.
