Mercury(And The Chaos In Their Life) Part 3

Chapter 12, Planning

I lean on the wall while waiting for Vix to finish showering from what happened today. They walk out, "You can go now." I nodded and went inside. I turn on the water and watched it slowly rise, I turn the water off and went in.

The water was warm which is good, I start cleaning myself off with soap and water. A few minutes pass by, I finished and went out, I dried myself with a towel and threw it in the sink. I walked out of the bathroom.

Vix sits alone on the bed staring off, I sat right next to them and rested my head on their arm. Vix looks at me and smooches me on the head, and stretches their arms out. "Ah..I'm so tired." They finish stretching and laid their body on the mattress. "Well, of course that stabbing made you tired." I chuckled and laid right next to them. They smile at me back and we both stare off at the ceiling until we were tired.

"Hey..so, about touching my hair. I'll only let you do it. No one else, since I trust you the most." I grasp their hand. "Sounds great to me!" Vix kissed me on the head.

"You don't have to tell me it, but about touching your hair..-" Vix pauses, I realized what they were about to say. "Cross repeatedly pulled at my hair every time I would enter their reality, it got..so..painful and stressful for some reason. It sounds dumb..sorry."

"I don't think it's dumb. I understand. It was terrible for you, which took a big deal off of your mentality..." Vix starts to cuddle. "Thanks..I'm glad you think that way."

"Of course!" Vix kisses my cheek.

I fell asleep without notice, I didn't care much about it as I woke up. I was sore and didn't feel like getting up from the bed, I fell asleep again. I was awfully tired and didn't want to do anything else.

  why the fuck does this always happen?

I curled up in a ball, and I didn't want to wander around. 20 minutes pass by, Cross stands in front of me. I look up at them and then looked away, "What do you want?" I say in a tired tone and they kneeled down at me. "I just want to talk, not in the mood right now."

Cross gave me a weird smile while it sat down. "So? What is it?" I put my legs down to a criss cross. "What if I told you that I was gonna attack again someday?" Cross gets close to my face, I backed away slowly but they it got closer and closer towards me. "Your kidding.." I said with a smirk, "Well, attack me and you'll probably win or die OR I slowly torture you into losing your sanity.." Cross gets up and crosses their arms at me. "So what is it gonna be?" Cross kneeled down again.

I stared at them, and chuckled. "Both....you can do the second one, then I'll do the first o-" I get kicked in the face by Cross who look angry. "ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID? CHOOSE ONE YOU DUMBASS!! ARE YOU NOT GETTING THIS??" Cross sounded desperate and angry.

I slowly get up but they punch me in the stomach. I puked a little and coughed. "Wa-" I get punched in the face. "I'm surprised you can resist i-" I kicked Cross in the stomach as they spoke. "FUCKING BITCH!!" Cross takes out their knife and tried to stab me, but I dodged each one. "Whats wrong? You can't even reach me." I backed away and smirked, I start laughing and they started to attack me and that didn't work as well.

They dropped the knife, they seemed tired and I wasn't yet. "Must be hard being old huh?" I said, "I'm 25 you idiot.." Cross walks closer. "Thats still old.." I continued to back away. "Idiot.." Cross quietly says,"Heard that!" I said while they gave me an angry look. After a while of just pointless walking away, I dashed towards them without notice and punched them in the face. "AGH!!" Cross drops to the ground. "This could be a nice little practice before our fight.." I glared down at them and started laughing. "Well then..." Something shines from Crosses hand.

I stared at it while it was being pointed at my head
"Scared aren't you? Ever since that situation, you've been traumatized and hurt by it. It was a nice vision every time you would puke and sob." Cross smiles
I didn't know how to feel as I stared at in fear with wide eyes. I oddly felt like crying.

I raged and grabbed the gun but Cross resisted it, and they shot it in the air. BANG BANG BANG BANG!!! The sound bothers my ears as I started to get flashbacks. "No..not right now.." I thought while trying to take the gun, I snatched it away and aimed at Crosses head. "No way..." Cross slowly whispers as they sat in fear. I start trembling for a bit, and pulled the trigger.

I shot it once and Crosses head gets shot off, I dropped the gun and stared at their dead body. I start crying as I slowly start to remember back then, I sobbed loudly. I grabbed the gun and aimed it at my head. I pulled the trigger, it went black after.

I wake up feeling dead as usual, I get up from the bed and got ready for the day.

I finished and walked out of the room. As I walked out I see Lilith sitting alone at the dinner table reading a book, I looked around, it looked like Vix went to work again, and Arcane was still asleep.

Lilith notices me and waves, I wave back and sat in front of them. "Good morning." They put their book down, "Good morning.." I said in a quiet and tired tone. "Whats wrong? You don't look so well?" Lilith looked worried, "Well I was gonna explain something that bothered me.." I said, "Ah..go ahead.." Lilith nodded.

"Cross is wanting to attack us again..but I'm not sure when though." I looked at them and they nodded, "Lets be safe this time, Cross in this form looks dangerous." Lilith went stern.

"They've been getting slightly stronger when I see them.." I looked down at my hands, away from Lilith. "Because your letting them take over you..they're trying to manipulate you....And mess up your emotions." Lilith got close towards me. "I'm sorry but it's true." Lilith looked serious, "It's fine..I didn't know that much. Mainly I probably just forgot about it.." I was shaken by Lilith's words.

"I know you're strong, Mercury. Don't let that asshole get to you." Lilith puts their hand on my shoulder. I smiled, "Yeah!" I nodded and they put their hand off. "Loving the spirit here!" Lilith got up from their chair and seemed happy. "Lets all be safe here, you can tell Arcane and I'll tell Vix about it if you'd like to...also thank you I feel a bit better." I got up from my chair, "Yeah no problem!" Lilith gave me a thumbs up and I smiled. I went back to my room and so did Lilith.

A few hours pass by, I hear the front door open and it was Vix. I run towards them and hugged them. "Mercury! I'm so glad to see you!!" Vix hugged me back and smooched me on the head. "Me too!" I smiled at them and we went to our room. As Vix was finishing showering and putting their stuff away. "Vix I need to tell you something.." We were sitting right next to each other. "Yeah what is it?" Vix held my hand.

I explained them with the problem with Cross and something bad was about to happen. They nodded, "Cross must've improved with their self physically,  lets try out best to stay stronger. Together." Vix hugged me and gave me a kiss on the head. "I'm glad you're confident enough." I smiled even more. "Happy to help!" Vix hugged me tighter.

We all fell asleep when night came, hopefully nothing bad happens.
