Mercury(And The Chaos In Their Life) Part 3

Chapter 14, Sudden

I woke up as usual, it was cloudy today. I felt happy as I rushed to the window smiling. I enjoyed the view, I hear the door open and its Vix walking in. "I don't have work today so..you wanna?.." Vix smiles, "YES!! I mean..Yeah.." I get pumped up and then I realized I was too excited. "Alright! Lets get ready!" Vix sounded happy. We both get ready quickly and left the house.

The wind blows on our faces as we ran, we reach the city. "Its great to be out!" I say while looking up, we cross the street and went to a gift shop. "Glad I finally went here with you.." Vix smiles as we held hands. "Lets split up for a bit and find stuff we like!" I say while sounding happy. I felt very happy, for some odd reason. Vix nods and we went off to look for things.

-Vix's POV-

I look around, there was a lot of cool stuff. And I wasn't sure what to get. A adorable cat plush catches my eye, I wanted to give it to Mercury so I went to the counter and paid for it. I look around for Mercury who was still looking around. I tap their shoulder and they looked behind. I hand them the plush, "Do you like it?" I watched Mercury grasp it. "I LOVE IT!!!" Mercury looked happy and hugged the plushie then me. "I'm glad." I pat their head and they seemed very happy. We left the gift shop, "Sorry if I didn't give you anything.." Mercury looked sad, "Its fine..there wasn't much in the gift shop." I pat their head again. Mercury nodded and smiled, they put the plush in their backpack. We went to the bridge again, the view was beautiful as usual. We also went to go eat lunch after.

-Mercury's POV-

It was the afternoon, and we both went home together. It was a fun day, and we both had a good time. I felt tired and so did Vix, as we reached the house we went in to see Lilith and Arcane sleeping on the couch while leaning on each other. I smiled and a idea sparks in my head. "What if we slept here with them?" I say while putting my bag down. Vix nodded, "Sure!" They smiled at me. I say down right next to them and Vix sat right next to me. We lean on each other. After a few minutes of silence, we all fell asleep. It was normal at the first part, but something caught in my eyes.

I wake up, it was blurry at first. And then I fully opened my eyes.
I was there again
the white room...
I got up quickly and looked around

My eyes widened to what I saw,

Vix, Lilith, and Arcane...are also here with me.

"G-Guys..?" I finally spoke up, Vix wakes up and so did Lilith and Arcane. "Don't tell me.." Lilith looked around. "You're here with me..in the reality.." I felt like crying, Vix pat my head, "Let's be safe..together.." Vix nods, "Alright.." I cross my arms. "Finally, I got everyone here.." Cross smiles as they walked towards us. "Welcome to The White Room!" Cross greets all of them. I glared at Cross, who seemed to be smirking. "We all meet again, I'll try to be serious this time.." Cross looks over at Lilith and Arcane.

Cross starts to attack me first with a knife. I dodge it but they grab me with their white arm and threw me to the wall. "Merc-" Vix yells but only to get pushed back away from Cross. "Fast!" Lilith says while they back away with Arcane. "Guys! Y'all alright?" Lilith yells as they dodge Crosses attacks with Arcane. "Yeah.." I yell, "I'm good.." I watched Vix struggle to get up. I run towards them to help them. "MERCURY!!!!! LOOK OUT!!" Vix yells, I look over to see a knife being thrown at me, it was in my face. It went black.

-Vix's POV-

It went silent as Mercury's body fall to the ground, the knife landed in Mercury's head. I was shocked yet angry. "BASTARD!!" I yell in anger, I run towards Cross but they stab me with their hand. I spit out blood everywhere. I look at Lilith and Arcane, I gave them both a smile and a thumbs up. I close my eyes.

-Lilith's POV-

"SHIT" I thought to myself, "Now.." Cross smiles, they snap their fingers.

Me and Arcane collapse on the ground, we looked around for Vix and Mercury. They were also here too. But the city seemed different, "Looks like were on the other side." I said, Arcane nodded. They run towards Mercury and Vix. And poke them to be awake. They both wake up and we were both relieved. "Other side of the city...huh?" Vix gets up and grabs Mercury's hand. "Yup, barely anyone goes here that often." I look around. "Someone's here with us, and its pretty obvious of who it is." I say, "A familiar being is roaming the area."

"You're good." Cross lurks out of the dark alleyway. We were all standing on a road, no cars, just emptiness. "Cross.." I whisper. "Since we aren't in the reality, be careful." Cross grinned and they ran towards us.
