Dan Flint story

Chapter 3'

I woke up with a smile on my face, my alarm was going off. It was 7 AM. I jumped out of bed and put my uniform on. I straightened my hair and applied my eyeliner. I grabbed my school bag and headed down stairs unable to remove the grin on my face. It was 7:30. I grabbed the plate my mum was handing me and sat down at the table with my little brother and my dad. ''Mum, Dad I'm scared.'' without taking his eye off his newspaper my dad replied. ''Why Jack?'' ''Elizabeth is..smiling..'' my mum just laughed joining us at the table. My dad got up and left. ''I'll probably be late again tonight guys.'' he kissed my mum on the cheek. There was something going on with them but I wasn't going to let it ruin my happiness. ''So how was your first day?'' my mum asked pushing my dad to the back of her mind. ''it was really good, besides getting knocked out.'' I laughed. ''oh honey, I'm sorry I couldn't get out of work for you.'' I nodded. ''It's fine, Dan took good care of me.'' I looked at the clock as I said this 8:05. He was going to be here in 10 minutes. I put my plate on the side and started putting my hoodie on when there was a knock at the door, I opened it to see him. ''Hey Ellie'' I smiled. ''Hey, come in.'' I just needed to tie the laces on my converse. ''so you know you said you could keep me company?'' I could tell where this was leading so I nodded my head and carried on doing my laces. ''do you wanna come to mine after school?'' ''yeah, sure. I'll just check with my mum.'' I ran into the kitchen asking my mum and she was fine with it. I ran back out to Dan nodding saying it was fine. I put my bag on my shoulder and left the house. Dan's hand found mine and we began walking down the road. ''I couldn't stop thinking about you.'' he said making me blush. I just giggled at him. We walked through the school gates and into form where Matt and Max were stood there talking about KFC. Dan let go of my hand and I put my hoodie and the hook before joining them again. ''Hey Ellie!'' Max shouted. ''Hey Max!'' Dan kept me close to his side the whole way through form, his hand around my waist. Josh ran in late again. ''That stupid fucking bus!'' he was out of breath. We were all laughing at him. He caught his breath and joined in the conversation. ''so you guys busy tonight?'' Josh asked. The guys shrugged. ''Well you can come round to mine, mum and dad are out and we can play FIFA?'' All the guys cheered. ''come round about 7.'' They all nodded. ''You should come round to Ellie.'' Josh suggested. ''I think I might be busy tonight.'' remembering Dan had asked me to go to his. I looked up and he was smiling at me. ''Oh right well if you're not, come round!'' I nodded. The bell rang and Josh was dragging me off to Media. ''knocked out on your first day hey?'' he winked at me. ''Yeah well Dan was there to look after me.'' he blushed remembering our kiss. ''Oh was he now.'' I was just silent. ''Ellie is there something you're not telling me?'' I couldn't keep it from Josh could I? He was kind of like my new bestfriend! ''well yesterday, Dan kissed me.'' I dragged that out. ''I told you he liked you.'' The rest of the day dragged on, I couldn't wait to just get to Dan's house and talk to him. Me, Josh and Matt were on our way back from French heading to form. We got to form and Dan was stood there holding my hoodie for me and passing it to me as I walked in. ''Thanks.'' I smiled at him. ''You're welcome.'' we waited for sir to do the register and then me and Dan where on our way back to his. We got to the end of the street just outside of school and turned left saying bye to all the guys. Dan grabbed my hand again. ''have a good day?'' he asked. ''well I didn't get knocked out today.'' we both laughed. We got to Dan's house and he let me in. ''Are you hungry?'' ''A little bit.'' ''I can put us a pizza in?'' ''Yeah that sounds good.'' Pizza again, it was becoming our thing. He sat down on the sofa. ''stay the night.'' ''I don't know.'' ''come on, I dare you.'' Dan said with a cheeky grin on his face. ''Okay.'' I said throwing myself at the sofa so I was sat next to him. He put his arm around me and kissed my forehead. About 15 minutes passed. ''I should go check on the pizza.'' I laughed at him. ''Yeah probably.'' he brought the pizza out and we shared it. It was slightly burnt but still eatable. We watched another Disney film, Lilo and Stitch this time. ''Do you want to go to Josh's?'' I asked Dan remembering Josh's invite before. ''I'd much rather stay here with you.'' I smiled and leant into him resting my head on his chest and his arm slowly wrapped around me. It was 7:30 when the film had finished. I checked my phone. A text from my mum. -when are you coming home?- I replied explaining how Dan's mum worked away and he hated being alone so if it was okay if I could stay at his. I waited for a reply expecting a no. The message came through and I opened it. -oh that's fine honey, maybe he could stay at ours sometime?- MY MUM SAID YES LIKE WHAT?! Dan walked out of the front room and walked back in 5 minutes later with a massive tub of vanilla ice cream and two spoons. My face lit up. Dan sat down handing me a spoon. We dug into the ice cream. We'd gotten distracted by the ice cream and getting to know each other better that it had gotten to 10:30pm. ''I need sleep Daniel.'' ''SLEEP TIME!'' he shouted picking me up and throwing me onto his back giving me a piggy back upstairs. I was laughing so much. He got to his room and threw me onto his large bed. He took his school shirt off what a site. ''I suppose you'll need some clothes to sleep in.'' Dan suggested. He threw me a pair of his boxers and his blink 182 t shirt ''there's a bathroom the next door down.'' I nodded ''Thank you.'' I ran in to the bathroom and got changed quickly. I tied my hair up into a messy bun. I went back to Dan's room and he was just wondering around in his boxers. Oh wow. I climbed into his bed, him following afterwards. He wrapped his arm around me and I rested my head on his chest before falling asleep.
