Soooooo it's been a while..HAPPY NEW YEAR...I'm sorry this is really short but people were asking for an update and I just wanted to put this up before I got annoyed with it and deleted it and started again. I'm gonna start concentrating on this story again so hopefully the next few chapters will be a lot longer than this. Ellie's POV

''I'm so sorry.'' Dan apologised for what seemed like the 100th time. ''You don't need to apologise Dan, it's was my fault.'' I added as the tears fell down my face. I didn't know what else to say. ''Please can we just get back together?'' He asked. ''Yes, yes, yes. A million times, yes.'' I cried. ''Ellie, I don't think I can wait 3 weeks before I see you.'' Dan said. ''I know but it'll fly by I promise.'' I replied. We talked for what seemed like hours about nothing, I think that's why me and Dan found each other. We could have conversations about anything and everything, nothing mattered except us and us enjoying each others company even though we were currently miles apart. ''Ellie!'' My dad shouted from the kitchen in the apartment we were renting. ''One sec!'' I shouted back. ''Dan, I'm sorry I have to go. I love you.'' I said. ''I love you too, Ellie.'' He replied and then I hung up.

I walked into the kitchen. ''What's up?'' I asked. ''Who were you on the phone too?'' he questioned. ''Dan.'' I replied with a smile slowly creeping on to my face. ''I take it you're back together then?'' he said smiling back at me. I nodded my head. ''I'm glad honey, no more tears on this holiday, okay?'' He said, pulling me into a hug. ''What did you want then?'' I asked again. ''Oh, me and Helen wanted to go out tonight, are you up for joining us?'' Helen was my dad's new girlfriend. I liked her, surprisingly. I mean she wasn't my mother but we got along and I could see she brought my dad happiness, the happiness I hadn't seen in him for a long time. ''I think, I might give it a miss.'' I paused. ''You and Helen have some time to yourselves. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine here.'' I said, smiling. ''Are you sure?'' he asked. I nodded. I walked back on to the balcony, this was by far the most beautiful view I'd ever seen.
