Chapter 10'

-3 months later-

Ellie's POV

So a few months had passed, me and Dan were better than ever. He started a band with Josh, Matt, Max and Chris called You Me At Six. Although it was early days, these guys were gonna be big one day. Josh and Abi were now officially a couple, Holly and Matt were still together. Jonny had plucked up the courage to talk to Eliott and they were now becoming quite close I'm not sure if it's the way Jonny wants it though. Me and Jonny were like best friends, him and Josh now actually got on as Josh had no reason to hate him because me and Abigail both liked him. My mum and dad hadn't spoken since but my mum was doing better without him, my little brother is still and arse pain but some things never change! I was now going to meet up with my friends, MY FRIENDS. I have friends. I am no longer the nobody that everybody avoided. It felt great. ''Mum I'm going.'' I shouted putting my hoodie on. ''Okay, let me know what you're doing later hun.'' I opened the front door. ''Okay!'' I shouted before leaving. I walked down the road putting my headphones in. I checked my phone and I had a message from Dan. -Hurry up, I haven't seen you for a whole 24 hours! I need you, love you <3- He was so cute, bless him. I honestly don't know where I would be without him. He's my boyfriend but he's my best friend. He always listens to me and I do the same for him, he gets me like no one else. I opened a new message to reply, I began typing when I accidentally walked into someone. ''Shit I'm sorry.'' I looked up it was Kelsey. ''Oh no it doesn't matter.'' I smiled. ''Hey Kelsey how've you been?'' Kelsey had been having a hard time recently with everything that happened she lost a lot of her friends and she was slowly becoming unpopular. ''I'm alright I guess.'' she sighed. ''Are you doing anything now?'' I had an idea. I ok Jonny in when he needed a friend so why can't I do the same for Kelsey? ''Just going home, why?'' ''Do you wanna come meet the guys with me?'' She looked concerned. ''I don't think that would be a good idea, they all hate me.'' ''No they don't! You're coming with me end of.'' She smiled at me. ''Okay then.'' We began walking. I quickly finished texting Dan back. -I'm on my way now! I'm bringing Kelsey with me. Love you toooo <3- I put my phone back in my pocket and carried on walking with Kelsey. We arrived at the field behind the park, everyone was sat on a massive blanket with crap loads of food in the middle by everyone I meant: Dan, Josh, Abi, Max, Matt, Holly, Chris, Jonny, Eliott, Oli and Jess. ''Hey guys.'' I shouted walking over. I was quickly greeted by Daniel who pretty much jumped me knocking me to the ground and me just laughing at him. ''I missed you.'' he whispered before kissing my lips getting a little bit deeper before his tongue was fighting with mine. ''Guys get a room.'' Oli shouted. Oli was Josh's friend from Sheffield, I'm not really sure how they met but Oli was in his own band. Oli was a great person, he was funny but serious when you needed him to be. Dan broke off the kiss. ''I love you.'' I said as I sat up. ''I love you too.'' he pulled me onto his knee. ''Hey Kels, how's it going?'' Dan said. I love the fact he was just nice to everyone. ''I'm good thanks.'' She smiled at him before sitting down next to us. I looked over at Josh who had cracked open a big bag of magic stars and was stuffing his face. ''Oi Franceschi, save some for us.'' He gave me a death glare before coming over and talking to me. I'd spent the last few days at home with my mum just helping out, the only person I'd really seen all week was Dan so it was nice just catching up. ''Kelsey, haven't seen you for a while.'' Josh said hugging her. She seemed quite shocked. ''Told you.'' I mouthed to her. ''Yeah, I've been a bit..busy recentley.'' She said. ''Well you should hang with u-'' Josh was cut off as he fell to the ground Abi had jumped on his back and Josh not expecting it fell straight on his arse. Typical Franceschi. ''Come on fatty, I want a piggy back.'' Abi said laughing at her boyfriend laying on the floor. ''well duty calls.'' Josh saluted and then did as Abi had asked and was now running round the field with Abi on his back. ''what are you doing tonight?'' Dan asked. ''I'm not sure yet, is that an invitation to your crib Daniel?'' he laughed at me attempt at being funny perfect boyfriend or what? ''Well my mum is back, do you want to meet her?'' NO NO NO NO NO. ''Yeah, is it okay with her?'' he nodded ''she said she was excited to meet you.'' I smiled. ''Okay then, I'll come over.'' I was not ready for this, what if she hated me and banned me from seeing her son? I couldn't handle that, I need Dan. ''Hey I'm Oli, I don't think we've met?'' Oli introduced himself to Kelsey. ''Yeah, I'm Kelsey.'' She smiled at him. They kind of walked off a little bit just getting to know each other. CUTE. Eventually we all joined as a group again sitting round in a group. ''So you know how you guys are in a band now?'' Jonny said. The guys nodded. ''Well me and Eliott have decided to form a little band too, we're called Stay The Night.'' Jonny finished what he was saying. ''Guys that's awesome.'' Matt said. ''Thanks.'' Eliott said. We spent the next few hours just being teenagers, messing about, taking the piss out of each other. It started getting dark and we were running out of food, no thanks to Franceschi, we decided to pack up and go home. Everyone walked off home the other direction leaving me, Kelsey and Dan. ''You and Oli were gettinig close.'' Dan hinted at Kelsey. ''Oh were we.'' Kelsey winked. ''You guys will end up together.'' He insisted. ''I don't think so.'' Kelsey looked to the ground. ''You had that man in the palm of your hands.'' Dan put his hand on his hip. Sometimes I questioned his gay side but it just makes him more loveable really, especially when he wants to watch Gossip Girl with you. ''He didn't give me his number or anything.'' Dan pulled out his phone. ''That little bitch.'' Dan teased. He put the phone to his ear and began to phone someone, I was guessing it was Oliver. ''Oliver Sykes, how dare you.'' Kelsey looked at me and shot me a 'what the hell is your boyfriend doing' look. I just shrugged my shoulders and laughed listening what Dan was saying next. ''Don't pretend you don't know what I'm talking about.'' Kelsey was telling him to stop but trying to contain her laughter at the same time. ''Kelsey, you obviously thought she was hot mate.'' Kelsey now went bright red. ''Dan I'm going to kill you when you get off the phone.'' Kelsey screamed at him. ''So why didn't you give her your number?'' It was so hard to understand not being able to here what Oli was saying. ''Ah okay so you want me to give it to her for you.'' Dan asked winking at Kelsey. As much as he picked a stupid way of sorting it out, it just proves he cares about his friends. He was such a babe. ''Okay, see you soon Oli.'' Dan hung up the phone. Kelsey gave him a death glare. ''So before you kill me Oli would like me to give you his number.'' Suddenly she had a smile across her face. ''Really?'' Dan nodded and then gave her his number so now Kelsey was happy. ''Thanks for today Ellie, it means a lot.'' I smiled at her. ''Don't worry about it.'' I just liked helping people. Kelsey walked down her road leaving me with Dan. ''Mum text me saying we could go out for a meal tonight so do you want to go back to yours and get changed?'' NO I JUST DIDN'T WANT TO MEET HER. ''Dan, what if she doesn't like me?'' I was bricking it. ''She can't hate you, not when I'm this much in love with you.'' He made me smile but the worry was still there. ''And if she does, she's not around enough to change anything between us and I wouldn't let her. You mean the world to me Ellie and no one, not even my mother can stop us from being together.'' That's what I needed to hear, my nerves were now settled. ''I love you Dan.'' He  wrapped my arms around his neck kissing him. ''I know, I love you too.'' He took my hand and we began walking back to mine. I opened thefront door. ''I'm home.'' I shouted. ''DAN!'' Jack ran up to Dan hugging him, my little brother was more in love with him then I was. ''Hey Jackery.'' Dan smiled being dragged into the front room to watch some shitty kids show. I followed him through but continued into the kitchen to find my mother. ''Hey honey, had a good day?'' I nodded. ''Yeah, Dan asked me if I wanted to go out for a meal with him and his mum tonight, can I go?'' My mum stopped what she was doing. ''Are you sure you want to go?'' I thought about what Dan had said to me. ''Yeah I am.'' She put her hand on my shoulder. ''Then yes, you can go.'' ''Thanks mum.'' I jumped up and hugged her. ''It's okay, just go get a nice dress on or something and I'll drive you round to Dans.'' I nodded and ran out the kitchen. ''What do I wear Dan?'' I asked. ''A dress?'' I nodded and ran up the stairs. I walked to my wardrobe and started looking at my dresses. I found my black strapless dress that puffed out a little and came up to my knees, I loved this dress so much. It wasn't too fancy either which was good. I put it on quickly with a pair of tights. I grabbed my converese and put them on and then headed over to my mirror and fixed up my eyeliner and quickly straightened my hair. Okay, I was ready. I walked out my bedroom grabbing Dan's hoodie that I'd stolen off him and I walked down stairs and into the front room. ''Wow, you look great.'' Dan stood up and hugged me. ''But am I ever getting that hoodie back?'' he winked before placing a quick kiss on my lips. ''Elle are you ready?'' My mum walked through. ''Yes.'' She grabbed Jack and we all headed into the car. Jack and Dan were sat in the back and I was sat in the front with my mum. When we got to Dan's, Dan and Jack did a mini hand shake that Dan had been teaching him. ''Call me later and let me know what's happening and if I need to come pick you up?'' I nodded. ''Ok thanks Mum.'' I hugged her and got out the car. Dan met me on the path as my mum drove off. ''Ready?'' he said holding his hand out for me to grab. ''Ready.'' I whispered as we walked up the path and Dan opened the door. ''Mum, I'm home.'' Dan shouted. ‘’Okay, we’ll leave in 10 minutes.’’ A woman shouted from another room. Dan started going up the stairs gesturing for me to follow him. I followed him into his room where he threw himself on his bed quite angrily for a few seconds. ‘’Ellie, just remember no matter what happens me and you are what I care about the most. Just me and you.’’ He repeated himself. ‘’Dan, what’s wrong?’’ I was genuinely quite concerned about him. He shook it off and began to put a shirt on but left his black skinny jeans on. ‘’Dan, tell me what’s wrong?’’ I asked again. He pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead. ‘’I just haven’t seen my mum in a while.’’ I looked up into his eyes. ‘’It’ll be okay, I’ll stay by your side’’ He kissed me quickly. ‘’I promise.’’ finishing my sentence. Our fingers interlocked and he led me out of his room and down the stairs. ‘’Daniel are you ready?’’ his mum walked into the front room. ‘’Yes.’’ He suddenly stood up straight. ‘’You must be Elizabeth?’’ I nodded. ‘’Yes, it’s nice to meet you.’’ I smiled shaking her hand. ‘’Let’s go then, we have a table booked.’’ She smiled leaving the house and heading to her car. ‘’I’m sorry.’’ Dan whispered into my ear as we climbed into the back. I shook my head signalling it was okay but I was a little bit confused why he was saying sorry, he kissed my hair as his mum started driving. Suddenly he seemed more nervous than I was. I hope this goes well.
