#8 - The cat is nearly out of the bag

"Sean, stop playing around!" I turned my head to the other side and pushed Sean on the shoulders, trying to get him off me. "I am not playing around. Faster, tell me. I am waiting," Sean placed his ear close to my mouth, waiting for the answer.

Fine! I smiled and blew in his ear.

"Eh!!!" He was startled and grabbed both of my wrists to pull my hands to his chest. "Why did you do this!" He said.

He looked as though he is angry while I continued to grin at him.

"You started it first."

"Don't do this to anyone else. Not to Yok and Gram either. Do you understand?"

"Why? I don't think it is a big deal or anything weird."

"I said no is no. Be obedient, will you? If not, I will make you my wife."

I am still grinning at him from ear to ear. He released my hands and returned to sit on the floor. I will treat whatever sweet things that he said to me as a joke, because I know that he is not serious.

Sean looked a bit unhappy about my response, "What is there to smile about?" "What can I do other than to smile? I'm smiling because you are cute," I used my hand to pinch his chin and shifted his face left and right.

I am surprised he allowed me to do this without any protests. He only looked at me with a slight smile.

I released his chin, "Why are you smiling then?" "You should..." He paused. I repeated, "Should?"

"You should have walked into my life earlier."

I did not know how to respond as I do not what he is referring to.

"What do you mean?" I asked. Sean did not reply to me but only started to draw on the back of my hand with his finger. I am looking at my hand so I know that he is drawing a heart.

I laughed and let him continue to do whatever he was doing. He looked happy while continuously drawing the heart. I can't help but to think...

It will be good if he can reconcile with Black. I don't think Sean is a bad person. I wonder what happened that caused Black to be so angry with him.

The next day

After we are off from school, I am prepared to visit my brother in the hospital. I told the rest that I have private matters to attend to once we are out of the gate. Since the carpark within the school is filled today, they have parked the bikes outside the school.

I have choose to tell them the truth instead of lying. Even I told them the truth, Gram is still unwilling to let me off, "What matters do you have? Why can't you say?"

"It's private."

Gram said, each single word as though like a knife stabbing me, "Oh, so what's all the years of brothers that we have been for? So now you have secrets that you cannot tell us?"

"Everyone needs to have some alone time too..." I said truthfully.

Yok asked, "Need me to send you there?" I shook my head, "It's ok, I will go there by my own."

Yok nodded his head, as if indicating that he understands. I took a look at Sean, he seems not to care and not intending to ask anything.

Gram pressed on, "Sean, you are not going to say anything?" Sean looked at him questionably, "What is there to say?"

"Whatever also will do, to let us know you are with us. Our brother here is having a secret..."

Fuck...why is he not letting me off?
