"Sean is basically threatening me."

I complained while entering the house with Gram. His big husky has been waiting for us to enter ever since the door was opened.

Once we have entered, the dog immediately ran into Gram's embrace.

"About that..."

"Yes?" Gram was touching the dog's head while looking at me. This dog is so lovable, it was letting out purring sounds while being touched on the head.

I asked, "I don't remember if your dog is fierce. Does it bite?"

"No, it doesn't bite."

"Are you sure about this?" I tried to confirm again. Gram laughed heartily, "It doesn't bite me but will bite you."

"Damn you." I can't control myself to scold him.

"I am just playing around with you. My dog has good manners like me. N'Ky won't bite you provided that you don't bite it."

I squatted down beside Gram, "Do you think I'm crazy? Do you think I will bite a dog? What is the name? I have forgotten about it."

"Are you on the onset of early ageing? Why have you forgotten everything? The name is Lucky."

"Lucky," I called out to the dog. It started wagging its tail and even barked in response. I used my hand to touch the head. Indeed, Lucky did not bite me. I find it to be so adorable.

"Let's go into the house, Ky," Gram pushed the dog lightly. Once we have reached the living room, Lucky started to run about before settling down at the sofa. It keep barking at Gram continuously.

"Why is Lucky barking?"

"Lucky is complaining that I have returned home later than usual today."

I joked, "Someone actually can understand dog's speech but is unable to even understand English." Gram turned to look at me.

Gram raised an eyebrow, "Are you sure you want to pick a fight at my territory? You want to sleep in the washroom today?"

"I am just joking," I laughed.

Gram replied snobbishly, "Good that you know who is the biggest here (a better translation will be who is the boss, but I have to keep to the biggest for the following conversation)." I challenged him, "Is it really that big?" Gram pretended that he was about to unzip his pants, "Do you want to see?"

"Fuck!" I pushed his shoulder. "I meant the heart!"

"Oh really? It's my fault then for misunderstanding it. However, whatever that I have is big."

"Whatever."

"Hehhhehe."

I laughed with him. I feel very comfortable with Gram, as though we are very good friends and brothers. This is completely different when I am with Sean. Sean has always made me feel weird, I can't explain what the weird feeling is. I just don't feel as comfortable and close with Sean compared to Gram.

"Your parents are not at home?" I asked him out of curiosity as the house is exceptionally quiet.

"No, they have went to somewhere to settle some things. They will only be back in around two to three days' time."

He opened the fridge and took out two bars of chocolate. He passed one to me. I started eating it after thanking him. Gram continued to play with the dog. The dog was licking Gram's face non-stop.

I asked him, "Is the dog a male or a female?"

"Male and super mischievous too," Gram touched his head. "No matter how mischievous he is, I will still love him. Right, Ky?"
