Chapter Three

On The Island

Laying on the disregard island was the same robotic looking girl.

But now she was lifeless, as her body didn't move a single inch as she landed on the ground.

But after many hours of silence the girls eyes opened to reveal her sapphire eyes, she then raised herself from the sandy ground.

And as the sand rushed off of her and returned to the earth, the girl became to look around.

???: {Unit in unknown environment. Begining scam of the area.)

The girls eyes shined a bright blue and, she began to take everything into herself.

???: {Scan completed.... Place: A biological planet teaming with life... Mission detective: Unknown..... Attempting to reconnect with Over mind.}

The girl stood there as her mind started to thread a small strand of tread. And tried to connect with the over mind but...

???: ARGHHHHH!!!

A sharp electrical pain ran through her body, as her body collapsed. And her mind felt like it was on fire.

???: {Unknown damage sustained to unit, attempting to repair damaged systems....}

But no matter how hard the girl tried, to "repair herself" it would always end the same.

???: {Unable to locate damage, unable to connect to overmind. Unit has lost all purpose... Commencing deletion of Atheon AI.}

Atheon's eyes started to shine a bright blue, as a white glow started to illuminate in her chest, and started to pulse with an ethereal glow. Eventually a bright light consumed the entire Island, but when it died down the girl was still standing. Her eyes still burned with life inside of them even though they were Hollow and empty.

She brought up her hands up and started to touch her face, her hands then trailed down to where her core used to be. In the center of her stomach, but she can no longer feel the clear metal case that contained the Radiolaria fluids.

She then brought her hand up towards where that bright white flash was, and could feel the fluids pumping in her chest. She also felt a beating.

Bum bum

Bum bum

The slow steady beating of an organic heart beat in her chest, with its arithmic flow. The girl had no idea what this was. As a searing pain ran through her skull once again she was met with a shocking result.

Her recent scan of her body showed that, half of her body was organic, while the other half was inorganic. And as the information flowed into her brain she felt as if her processors were about to fry.

How could this have happened? What happened to this unit?

That inescapable question played through her mind, and felt as if a taunting joke was being played on someone. And that someone had no idea what it even was.

Atheon: {System unable to discover how organic matter has infected unit, shut down unable to be accessed, deletion of AI interrupted by something. Mission: unknown.}

The girl wondered what was her purpose now? She then felt as if she needed to look up, and with some unknown Force she looked up at the glistening night sky that illumed to the sky.

And as her sapphire eyes glistened with the starring night sky, she couldn't help but feel something change in her new organic heart.

It beats slightly faster, and she felt a warm feeling enveloped it. But at last she had no idea what this was, she assumed she was overheating, but when she looked the report of her body she found no such thing was happening.
