Qarth is truly a stunning city to see. The houses, stores, and even the markets have beautiful decorations and architectural designs. I can see why the people call it the greatest city that ever was or will be.

Xaro, who graciously hosts us at his mansion, leads us through the city. We pass many gardens and houses that are decorated with plenty of precious materials. The city is truly a hub for trade as many ships can be seen entering and leaving the city.

The mansion of Xaro is no exception to all the other houses that we have seen. It is decorated with gold ornaments, colorful murals, and everything we could have wished for is provided for us.

I have been given a room next to Daenerys. The first thing I do is take a bath. It truly feels amazing washing away the dirt and sweat from walking in the desert. After I finish my bath, I get dressed and go to the room of Daenerys. Irri is currently there as well.

I knock on the door and it is opened by Irri who smiles at me. "My lady, Khaleesi has just finished taking a bath. She was hoping to see you." Irri steps aside and I walk into the room. I spot Daenerys on the balcony, trying to feed her dragons again.

"Your grace," I say with a slight bow. She smiles "Visenya, come join me. We need to get my picky children to eat." I walk to her and take a seat next to her. The green and bronze dragon, Rhaegal, walks to me and jumps on my lap. Dany chuckles happily, music to my ears. "He likes you."

I smile and stroke the scales of Rhaegal, which Rhaegal seems to like. He chirps and leans into my hand. "Why won't you eat for your mother little one?" I whisper to him. Daenerys looks happily at the interaction between me and Rhaegal. It makes me blush slightly. "Have your dreams showed you anything?" Dany asks. "I am afraid not, my queen. It seems I can't choose my dreams," I say sadly. She puts a hand on my hand and the touch makes me feel better already. "It's alright."

I look at Rhaegal for a moment while thinking deeply. "What have you tried feeding them? Only raw meat?" Daenerys nods. "Perhaps they want it cooked? You know since they breathe fire." Daenerys laughs. "Oh my... how could I not come up with that."

"Shall I ask Irri to prepare some meat?" Daenerys shakes her head. "No, they should learn to do it themselves." I put Rhaegal on the balcony and put a piece of raw meat in front of him. "Alright Rhaegal, I believe in you. Now... fire!" Rhaegal looks puzzled at the meat and then looks at me, blinking.

Daenerys laughs. So hard in fact that tears form in her eyes. Gods this is embarrassing... "Oh, Visenya... you are adorable. I can't even remember when I laughed this hard!" I put my head in my hands to hide my embarrassment. "I thought that would work..." She puts a hand on my shoulder. "Perhaps we should speak the language of our ancestors." I look at her in surprise. "You know how to speak High Valyrian?" She winks as a response. She takes a piece of meat and places it in front of Drogon. "Dracarys," she says looking deep into his eyes. Drogon tries to spit fire and after a couple of tries, he cooks his meat.

I look with amazement at Daenerys. She takes another piece and puts it in front of Rhaegal. "Dracarys," she says again while looking into Rhaegal's eyes. Like his brother, he cooks his meat after a couple of tries. He eats the meat with pleasure.

"You are amazing Daenerys," I say to her while staring at her without realizing it. She is taken aback by my earnest words it seems. "I... uhm... it was you who came up with the idea. Without you I..." she seems a bit lost at what to say. I can't help but hope that it is a good sign. "Thank you, Visenya." She finishes and... is that a blush? Gods I hope so.

We put the dragons back into the cage. As Daenerys said, Rhaegal seems to like me for some reason. Well, at least I have the support of one of her children. We leave the balcony and when Doreah sees us she smiles. "Did you see the dress Xaro made for you?" She says while showing a blue dress embroidered with golden symbols. It is truly a gorgeous dress that would fit Daenerys perfectly. "They say he is the wealthiest man in Qarth..." Irri nods while preparing some clothing. "It is known," Irri says. Doreah smiles again. "And if Qarth is the wealthiest city in Essos..."
