Cause of annoyment
The school day was halfway through when I was sitting in the area where students usually do their studies or just chill if they have free hours and so on. My whole assignment and studying got delayed and interrupted by Jungkook the other night, so I needed to catch up with it.
If I remember correctly, Jungkook has a double lesson right now, so he won't be here disturbing me for the time being. I do miss that little whiny face, but I need to get my shit together when it comes to school.
''Howdy Y/n!'' I heard someone saying and mentally cursed when someone ended up coming to distract and cut me from what I was currently reading. I lifted my head to see it was Hoseok, so I wasn't that pissed off anymore.
''Hey,'' I smiled. ''You have a free hour, too?''
''Not really, I wasn't just feeling the subject at the moment,'' he laughed.
''Never knew you were that type of person to ditch a class? Out of all Jungkook's friends, I thought you, Jin, and Namjoon were the loyal ones and the younger once more rebel.'' I laughed, and he did too.
''Watch what you're saying, I can be a rebel too,'' he said.
I enjoyed how good friends we had become. Though there were always problems with the younger ones and less with the older ones, they were still part of Jungkook's life, and most of the time, laughing at the situations Jungkook caused.
Or maybe I just had a bad image of them earlier, considering how the whole school saw them, especially Jungkook. Indeed, you cannot judge someone by how they look or act. You need to get on the deep side of their personalities.
''So you got Jungkook to come to the guys' night? How?'' Hoseok asked.
''You don't want to know, but I had to fight with him about it. He can be so stubborn, but I want them to talk and settle this thing. I can see he misses him, and it feels bad that someone like Jimin is out of his life regardless of what he did.'' I sighed.
''Yeah, none of us knew Jimin was capable of doing such a thing. He didn't care when Jungkook was around other girls before, but the second you got into the picture, it almost felt like it triggered him more. But we don't know why.''
''Maybe it has something to do with the fact that we are dating,'' I guessed and looked at him. He showed a questioning face and allowed me to continue. ''Before, all the girls Jungkook had, had been just hookups. Hookups don't interact with them later on or steal their attention.''
''Yeah, our Jungkookie never touched the same girl twice, or it was a huge coincidence if he did. But I don't see a point in Jimin's thinking when it comes to dating you.'' Hoseok said.
''Think about it,'' I started. ''Jimin knew the hookups would never 'steal' Jungkook away from him. When I came to the picture, Jungkook's attention was on me and not on him. Maybe he feels left out someway.''
Hoseok sighed. ''Still, it is stupid to get mad at someone, let alone trick them into breaking up just because you are not getting enough attention from your best friend.''
''Yeah, but it is not an impossible scenario. I think you guys should try to get them to talk it out tonight. I never wanted to steal Jungkook from his friends. If anything, I always try to encourage him to be with you, too.'' I smiled.
