It has been a week since I surprised Jungkook with another girl. During this whole time, I've been trying to avoid him in school and elsewhere.

Of course, he's been trying to call me multiple times. He's been staying outside my apartment, waiting for me to get out so he can explain.

To be honest, I needed time.

I felt bad for him to stay outside so long waiting for me, running after me in school, and leaving multiple text messages saying he missed me and how much he was sorry. He wants to explain.

Only if I let him.

Even now, I was trying to pick up my books from my locker as soon as I could before Jungkook would try to find me again. However, I couldn't leave when someone leaned on the lockers beside me. But it wasn't Jungkook.

''I heard you broke up with Jungkook,'' it was Minho smirking away at his possible success of getting you two separated. His own mental plan. ''How sad.''

I closed my locker and started walking away from him. He was the last person I wanted to see right now and hear how he mocked us. But he started following me.

''I'm not in the mood to talk, especially to you,'' I said when he didn't seem to leave me alone. ''And we're on a break. We haven't broken up.'' I finished before speed-walking away from him.

I cannot say this relationship is over just like that. Especially because I haven't let him explain anything. I don't know the whole truth, only what Jimin says.

Like I said, I needed time to think all of this through. I didn't want to hear him because I was still angry. I don't want to say anything wrong out of anger.

I will let him explain, eventually.

And even if that made me the stupidest person on Earth, so be it.

After school, I went to get some groceries to make my favorite dish and some treats to make me feel better.

I heard someone saying hello behind me while looking for the ingredients.

It was Jungkook's grandmother.

''Oh, hello,'' I bowed politely and smiled at her. ''How are you?''

She smiled at me, probably reading through me. ''I have been well. How was the visit to your parents?''

Right, Jungkook must have told her. I remember him telling me that he would be helping her at the café during the vacation.

''It was great to see them after a long time,'' I smiled back.

''I'd love to catch up, come to my café,'' she suggested, and at first, I thought about refusing her offer, but I didn't want to be rude.

So I just nodded, and we finished our groceries before going to her café, which was close to the market.
