CALI.

Chapter 10

I woke up at 8 in my bed. My puffy eyes had seceded and there was a blanket over me, which I didn't put there.

Ariella; Oh, hey, I was just coming to wake you up.

She said walking into my room.

Hylind: Hey, how are you doing baby girl?

She said walking in behind Ari, sitting on my bed.

Cali: I'm okay. I'll get there.
Ariella: Yeah, especially with the help of Ayden

She cooed. Trying to pry a little informatiom out of me. I could see Hylind shift a little in her seat. I felt bad at the thought of how bad she wanted him back. But it was so long ago when they dated. Around when we were 12, still relationship experimenting. But now she wanted him more for the attention she would get rather then the affection from him. It was ridiculous. She cheated on him. And he really liked her. That's probably why he has relationshio issues and why he plays every girl. Why hes never said "I love you" to anyone
But there was something in his eyes that made me know I could trust he wouldn't do that to me.
She cleared her throat.

Hylind: Yeah, how is that going?

She settled herself and calmed down a little. Getting over the fact that he doesn't want her back.   But I still decided to keep it short.

Cali: Good actually, but I don't think we're going to have a relationship any time soon. I mean. I just broke up with Alecs.
Ariella: Yeah I understand. But y'all would be so cute together.

I tried changing the subject.

Cali: Y'all want to help me pack?

I got up and walked over to my clothes and shoes all over the floor and noticed Alecs stuff was gone. Figuring he put the blanket on me, I smiled a little. I'm going to miss him. But its over. My smile quickly faded when Ari walked over to me picking up a shirt and folding it. Hylind did the Same. We sat there in silence while we packed my stuff. When we were done we brought all our stuff to the car and everyone sat in the living room before we left. It held an awkward heavy silence.  Ayden spoke.

Ayden: This has been quit the week..

Everyone murmmerd yes and we sat there before Hylind cleared her throat.  And everyone got up and went into the car. I sat in the way back next to Ayden and Ariella. Jai drove alongside Alecs and Hylind and Imani in the middle.
Afte an hour of driving Ayden decided to take his jacket off because he got hot. In the midst of that he ended up elbowing me in the chest.

Cali: Ow!

I said holding my right boob, he went to go aid me until he realized he was about to massage my boob and stopped before he did so and we started to die laughing.

Cali: Hey that wasn't funny

I said hitting him in the arm only to be pushed into Ariella by him.

Cali: Cut it out!
Ayden: You started it!
Cali: Lies!

We argued about who started the whole thing for another ten minutes until Ariella yelled at us for be loud, then I got tired and ended up falling asleep on Aydens shoulder. Keeping away from getting with him was going to be harder then I thought.

I woke up around 3 am, Alecs was driving now and everyone but Hylind and him were sleeping.

Cali: Hey, Alecs, can we take a stop at McDonald's, I'm starving.

He looked back at me from the mirror and nodded his head with a smile, probably because I'm still talking to him after everything that happened. I probably shouldn't be. Probably because I want to let him back in though I know I can't. But hey, I really am hungry.
He pulled over at the next stop and I ordered my food and got some fries and a cheese burger for Hylind. Which I'm surprised she's still talking to me. This whole trio has been fucked. I can't wait to get back home.
After I ate I couldn't fall back asleep so I stayed up and watched the lights on the highway, everything was so silent and pretty at this time, for some reason it reminded me of Ayden. Silent yet speaks so much volume. You could always tell how he felt with out asking. He was a open book. Well to me he was. I just kept thinking, how could I not see how he felt about me all these years. It frustrated me that I couldn't figure it out. I've always been the one to.know everything about everyone in.our clique. But I guess we haven't been a clique for a while now. Alecs cheating on me with Imani, Imani trying to get with Ayden, Hylind missing Ayden, Ayden being in love with me, Jai.. Jai beating Ari.. Thinking about this caught me off guard. While I thought I brought us together all this time we were falling apart. Hylind turned and looked at me, face full of excitement fr something on her phone that she wanted to show me, but her faced turned sad when she looked st me though. And it wasn't till then that I realized I was crying. Hard.
