Chapter 4

The dress was tight, short and black. It was sheer on the back and in a long v line in the front. The rest was sparkly and it had long sleeves ( picture to the right).

Cali: It's.. it's really pretty bae.

Imani: I know right!

She squealed and came over to hug me.

Imani: Okay I'm going to take this off and then we can start our hunt for heels.

She ran away from me into the dressing room and came back out five minutes later with her normal cloths back on.

Imani: Leggo!

Cali: Leggo!

We went to the cash register and Imani payed for the dress. As we walked out Imani spotted the perfect pair of black pumps to go with the dress she'd picked. We got them and went to the parking lot to the car.

Imani: You want to go home or go out to eat?

Cali: Home.

Imani: Well damn alright lets go home.

We got in the car and drove back to the house. When we got there Imani stopped me before going into the house.

Imani: Is there something that's bothering you?

Cali: No.. why?

Imani: Stop lying to me, but if you don't want to tell me just say you don't want to talk about it, that's fine.

Cali: Thanks love.

Imani: Now smile.

I flashed some teeth and we walked into the house. By now it was 6pm and I was hungry but I decided to go lay down.

I took off my cloths and threw on pair of sweatpants with a tight fitting t shirt that stopped at my naval showing off my belly button ring that hung down with a palm tree charm and a sun charm. I laid down on the bed with my phone. I started scrolling through twitter and instagram then eventually ordered a pizza for myself. I started tracking my order as Alecs walked into the room.

Alecs: Hey babe, you sharing that pizza?

Cali: Nope.

I smiled at him.

Alecs: Oh really?

He smiled back at me then came over to tickle me.

Alecs: You gonna share now?

Cali: Yes! Yes!

I screamed in laughter and he stopped tickling me.

Alecs: that's what I thought

we laughed again and he came and laid down next to me.

Alecs: whats wrong?

Cali: Nothing..

Alecs:: Somethings bothering you cal. What is it?

Cali: It's just Imani, I don't want her to make any mistakes.

Alecs: This about her and Ayden right? Not you and Ayden..

Cali: Of course. I don't have feelings for Ayden and Ayden doesn't have feelings for me. Why would you even say that.

Alecs: I don't know, I guess it was a mandatory question.

Cali: I love you.

Alecs: I love you too.

He kissed my forehead and put his arm around my neck. A minute later we heard Imani and Ayden leave. I rolled my eyes.

Alecs: hey she knows what shes doing to herself. If she wants to get hurt that's on her.

I just looked back at my phone and checked where my pizza was. It was still being cooked in the oven.

Alecs: how about we go pick it up?

Cali: okay lets go.

I grabbed my stuff and headed out the room before Alecs cold even get up,but he soon after followed behind. I went to the kitchen table and grabbed the keys then walked out of the house Alecs still following behind me. We drove 20 minutes to the pizza parlor. When we got there it was empty. But about twenty more people showed up as we were waiting.

Alecs: You want to eat here then go out for ice cream? Since you paid for the pizza I'll buy.

Cali: Sounds good

we went and sat down at a booth.

Alecs: I missed doing these things with you it seems like its been forever since we have actually gone out.

Cali: I know, I missed this too.

Alecs: So lets make a bet 20 dollars says Imani cries after Ayden makes out with another girl.

Cali: 20 bucks says she throws a plate at him.

Alecs: Lets shake on it then.

Cali: its on.

We shook hands and laughed. We stayed at that pizza parlor until 12 am hit then we went to McDonald's and got ice cream cones since everything else was closed. We laughed all night. By 2am it was time to go home. He got in the drivers seat and I hopped into the passenger seat.

Alecs: I think I just remembered why I fell in love with you in the first place.

Cali: Me too.

He leaned over and we kissed. He turned back and started the car. We got home to dark house. We snuck back into the room we the lights still off. Alecs went to take his pants off and bumped into a wall as I laid on the bed and I started to laugh but remembered everyone was asleep and shushed myself. Alecs got his pants off and laid down with me. I closed my eyes and snuggled into Alecs' chest when we heard a big bang on the wall. Both me and Alecs went to go see what it was. We walked out to the livingroom to be accompanied by the rest of the crew, still banging on the walls. We all had the same confused look on our face, like trying to solve a math equation. We looked around at each other, probably to see if we were all there when we were missing two people.. Ariella and Jai. I remembered where the bang came from, it was the wall that attached me and Alecs' room to Ariella and Jai's. The banging continued and by now we'd all figured it out. We leaned towards their door still more banging. We kind of figured what it was and went back to sleep in unison. I looked over at Imani who was still in her dress. They must have just gotten home too. Hylind walked over to me before I walked all the way into my room.

Hylind: Cali.

Cali: Yes?

Hylind: You knew that Imani and Ayden were going on a date?

Cali: yeah why?

Hylind: why didn't you tell me?

Cali: Is it any of your business?

Hylind: No but..

Cali: Then don't worry about it, Ayden asked her out and she said yes that's it, if your really worried about then I'm sure he'll be in your bed by tomorrow night, just like when he was going out with that chick Kim. Its not your place to kill all his romance.

Hylind: what crawled up your ass?

Cali: Nothing, I'm sorry.

Hylind: it's cool just don't take it out on me, k?

She walked away from me and I closed my door and laid back down with Alecs. I suppose I was being a worse bitch then usual. I shrugged it off and pushed the thought out of my head. Bed. That's all I could think of.
