00 • Character Introduction

Hello, rereaders, new readers, and anybody just stopping by.

I don't usually do author notes in the beginning of my story or chapters because I believe readers have a right to read what I wrote first before listening to my rants and notes. But it's been years since I wrote this story, and I've (somewhat unfortunately physical wise but not entirely every other way wise) grown up. I've graduated from middle school, then high school, and I've even joined society as a corporate slave (yay). The stories I wrote still bring me comfort because it reminds me of my passion and the things I used to love and still do, and I still often write amidst my busy life because it makes me happy. That's why I want to leave this here, at the beginning of this story, for everyone who decided to read my writings.

As the author, I receive notifications for every comment, vote, and addition to reading lists you do with my stories, and yes, I do read the comments you leave behind, which is why I'm making this note to begin with. Please remember that this was written by a teenager, and you did not pay to read it, so no, I don't want to read unnecessary hate comments or unwanted 'critique' comments because I did not ask for it and I don't want it. You are reading this story for free, so if you don't like something, then don't bother commenting. Just leave. Also, I honestly don't care if you want to change how my characters look or their names or whatever because it's your right, but I don't want or need to know that. I designed my characters however I want them to be, and I ask that you respect them. Rename them or redesign them for all I care, but do it in your head and don't tell me. I don't want or need to know.

Honestly, I received quite a few unwanted and hurtful comments, and I've thought about just deleting my stories. It won't be a loss to me, and I've done so in my AO3 account. But there are many rereaders and readers who leave behind nice comments, and that's why I kept this story up. I'm not saying you can't curse or mock the characters I write. You can even correct my grammars or typos because I'm sure there's a lot. But don't post backhanded comments about my character design or story, or just downright comment hurtful things just because you believe it won't be read. With all said, thank you for giving my story a try, and I hope you enjoy it.

Meaning:
Hoshizora [星空] means "starry sky"
Inori [祈璃] means "prayer" and "crystal"
Hizashi [陽射] means "sunlight"
Getsumei [月明] means "moonlight"
Shizuku [雫] means "droplet"

Star Breathing:

First Constellation: Dash of the Ram
The user will kick the ground and run straight at a blinding speed to behead the enemy.

Second Constellation: Gallop of the Bull
Running in a zigzag pattern to confuse and behead the enemy. The user would run on their toes and would look as if they were floating. The user could also use the walls or trees as their footing, and further accelerate themselves.

Third Constellation: Mischief of the Twins
This form relies on the user's ability to perform flips, especially without much footing. The user will unleash slashes toward the enemy while performing flips and backflips.

Fourth Constellation: Stealth of the Crab
The user will use the hidden blade in their shoes to behead the enemy. This form is created in anticipation of the user losing their ability to use their arms.
