Chapter 2: Crying Devil

Previously on Lucifer. Lucifer left hell to start a nightclub and found out one of his former employees was murdered, He helped an LAPD Detective solve the case, She got shot and he took her to the hospital to find out his Son is alive.

Lucifer says "That can't be. I was told he died along with his mother." the nurse says "Well, after you left she came back to life, for a little bit. And that was enough to save the baby sir. But you were gone, and we looked all over the state for you." Lucifer said, "But I was gone." The nurse nodded.

She hands his son to him he looks in his son's eyes and he has his eyes. Lucifer smiled at his son. Wondering how he was alive. The Nurse leaves, and Lucifer remembered something and said "Hey, Ava?" Ava said "Yeah?" Lucifer said "Would you mind holding him for a little bit. I got to go do something." Ava nodded and sat in the chair and Lucifer put his son in her arms and he said, "Maybe, you can help me pick out a name when I get back ok?" Ava nodded and Emma said, "Where are you going?"

Lucifer grabbed her hand and said, "I'm just going somewhere real quick, but I'm still going to be in the building, Ok?" Emma nodded and Lucifer left. He went up to the roof and put his hands together for prayer and called his brother Michael, Gabriel, and His Father to him. God and his siblings were behind him and his father said "Yes, Samael?" Lucifer turned around and said, "Is that little boy, my son?" God nodded and his siblings were shocked to hear this news.

Lucifer had a tear down his face and God said "I thought you'd be happy to hear your son is alive, son." Lucifer said "I am, but...You made me think he was dead along with his mother." God said "You weren't supposed to be with her, son. I believe the woman you are destined to be with is in her hospital bed watching her daughter hold your son." Lucifer says "I'm supposed to be with her?" God nodded and said "And it's not a manipulation, son. You both would get together no matter what I did."

Lucifer says "So, I love her." God nodded. Lucifer said, "Why, didn't you tell me my son was still alive?" God said "Because You had to have a reason to meet her." as he disappeared. Lucifer said "Dad! Wait!" Then a voice came and said, "Make the most out of your life, Samael." Lucifer nodded and saw his siblings looking at him. Lucifer said, "Come on, Let's meet my son." Gabriel and Michael nodded and followed Lucifer.

Lucifer walks into the room and Emma is holding his son. Lucifer smiles and says "Shouldn't you be resting instead of holding baby's, Detective?" Emma looked at him and said, "Ava was getting tired of holding him." Lucifer says "I figured if you're holding him." Emma smiled at Lucifer. Ava said, "Sorry, My arms were getting tired." Lucifer bent down and said "Ava, It's fine. Come here you." and he hugs Ava. Lucifer gets up and sits on the edge of the bed holding Emma's and his son's hands.

Ava said, "I got a name for him." Lucifer said, "What is it?" Ava said "Zain. It means Light in another language. Like your Lightbringer name." Lucifer smiled and said, "I like it." Lucifer got an Idea and said "How about we call him, Samael Zain Phosphorus. We can call him Sam or Zain." Ava smiled and said, "I like it." Emma said, "I'll call him, Sam." Lucifer smiled. Jon Drake came to the door and said "Hey, I came here to check on you. When did you have another baby?" Thinking she gave birth to Sam.

Emma says "It's Lucifer's son. He just found him and He went somewhere real quick and I had to hold him when Ava got tired of holding him." Jon gave an Oh expression. Jon said, "Want me to take Ava for a day so you two can catch up." Emma nodded and said, "Ava, go with your Dad." Ava nodded and went with her dad. Lucifer said, "Bro, Sis. Would you mind Taking, Sam to my penthouse?" Michael and Gabriel nodded.

Lucifer went to go get his birth certificate and S.S.N and he put everything in a bag and handed it to Michael. After they left, Lucifer and Emma were alone. Lucifer sat on the side of the bed and grabbed her hand. She smiled at him. He smiled back. Lucifer is afraid to say he wants to start a relationship with her, Afraid that she'll die because of him. Emma looked at him and said "Lucifer?" Lucifer nodded and She said, "What are we? We flirt, but we don't do anything."
