What Now

I slowly opened my eyes ,I was in a dark room.I glanced around.There was a TV and a window with a small curtain.

The door slowly creaked open,and a dark figure flipped on the light.

"Ahh,Jeremy I see your awake!"The doctor said as he sat down besides me.

"Where's Avery,What about Mike.Are they okay?"I asked worried

The door slowly opened.

"Jeremy,hello are you awake?"Avery said quietly.

"Avery your okay!"I said as she ran towards me.

"Avery,He isn't allowed to have visitors in the middle of the night."The doctor said sternly.

"No,It's cool.Im used to being up late."I laughed

"What about Mike is he okay?"I asked nervously.

The color faded from her face.

"Mikes,Mikes dead he didn't make it."Avery said sadly.

"It can't be,He was okay I handed him to the police."I stuttered.

"The ambulance crashed."Avery said slowly.

"Why,after all he's been through."I stuttered.

"I know it's horrible."Avery said sadly.

"Jeremy needs his sleep but,He's welcome to sign out in the morning."The doctor said as he pushed Avery out.

"Wait,What about all this."I said as I pointed to my arms.

"We tried we couldn't remove the poison."The doctor said as he shoved Avery out of the room.

"WAIT!"I yelled but,No response.

I slowly drifted off to sleep.

I ran to his door and stuck the paper clip into the lock.

"I hope this works"I muttered to myself.

"Yes,We need to get out of here."I said quickly.

"Why?"Jeremy asked as he sat up.

"No time lets go."I grabbed him and helped him down the stairs.

We walked outside and began to walk when Jeremy stopped me.
