The next day
Meigui pov
"I heard Brother Wuxian got in trouble and got caught by Brother Wanji, he has to stay in the Library Pavilion to copy from a book three times". Long Pingdan said.
"I'm aware, I have to copy it once for my side comment on his theory". I said, I was making jasmine tea for Lan Zhan since I'm going to be supervised by him with Wei Ying, I'm a fast writer so I'll be done in one day- hopefully if Wei Ying doesn't disturb me.
"Don't you think it was risky, Jiejie?". He asked.
"Don't speak of it out loud, mind your loud words". I scolded.
"Sorry, Jiejie" He apologized.
"Last thing I need is someone finding out, you don't want me sent away do you?". I asked.
"No, Jiejie! I don't want you to leave again! I'll be careful from now on!". He said worriedly as he held my sleeve.
"Don't speak of what happened during class to anyone, especially to Mother". I said.
"Yes, Jiejie, I promise". He said.
'He's the only one that keeps his promise no matter how dangerous it is'. I thought as I grabbed the tray and placed everything on it.
"Give this to Master Lan for me, Lan Xichen should be there with him so you'll be fine". I said as I handed him the tray.
"B-But Jiejie...".
"Man up, Long Pingdan, you know how to get there and you won't be messed with, they were warned to no touch you by Lan Qiren's orders, I'm already late so I can't go with you". I said firmly, he gulped.
"O-Ok!". He said.
"Stop stuttering, it's shows immaturity in your age!". I scolded slightly, he bowed before he left, I grabbed another tray and put everything on it and some snacks before making my way to the Library Pavilion, saw Wei Ying up to his tricks again, I watched in humor when Lan Zhan put a silencing spell on him.
"Am I intruding?". I asked in humor as I walked in, I slightly gasped when Wei Ying instantly held my waist while on his knees, I lifted the tray to better look at him.
"You sure got bold there Wei Ying, this is new". I said with a slight blush.
"Release her and I'll remove the spell". Lan Zhan said calmly but I could tell he was upset by his bold action towards me, he immediately let go and the spell was removed.
"I've brought some tea and snacks, would you both like some?". I asked before another argument could start.
"Jasmine?". Lan Zhan asked.
"Of course, I know you enjoy my jasmine tea more than the others I've made". I said as I walked over and placed the tray down, Wei Ying came over and grabbed some of the snacks.
"Thank you, Baihe Meigui". He said.
"I said to call me Meigui! Meigui! Lan Zhan!". I said childishly with a pout, he just ignored me and poured himself some tea.
"What are you in here for, Meigui?". Wei Ying asked.
"She spoke about your theory, her punishment was lightened by her giving out cons". Lan Zhan explained before he sipped his tea, Wei Ying looked away nervously when he noticed my firm look when Lan Zhan wasn't looking.
'I spoke her theory that was supposed to be private and never spoken of, she probably put in her comments to defend her own theory'. He thought with sweat rolling, I quickly looked away when Lan Zhan put his cup down.
