Lucy pov
at the guild
Erza went to sit with the rest of the team and Juvia talking to Gajeel as I sat at the bar.
"Hello Lucy, same as always?". Mirajane asked kindly.
"I'll have something different, how about some liquor?". I said, as soon as I did Cana showed up with an arm around me.
"About time, Lu, here drink up! it's on me!". She said as she handed me a mug full of beer.
'I never got use to being so openly touched, it's annoying when Cana and Natsu does it'. I thought plainly.
"It's not like you pay for your drinks, Cana". Mirajane said with a smile, she laughed loudly.
"Then put it on my tab-".
"You don't pay for that either-".
"More please". I cut Mirajane off, they looked at me in shock.
"Y-You already finished!? it was filled to the top!". Mira said in surprise, Cana smirked.
"Ha! a drinking buddy! lets see who has the highest tolerance!". She said as she refilled my cup and Mira handing her an already filled one and we began to drink cup after cup after cup. After at least a dozen or so cups I began to feel buzzed.
"I think that's enough for you, Lucy, I don't want you to go home wasted". Mira said.
"~Don't be a party pooper, Mira! I'm fine, let's keep going!~". I said a bit slurred.
"Hell yea! drinkity! drink! drink! drink!". Cana said, a bit drunk herself, Mira sighed as she refills our cups.
"Oh alright, but this is the last one, Lucy". She warned.
"Haaaaaiiiii!". We said before we downed the last cup, I felt a tap on my shoulder which made me look while still drinking.
"We need to talk, Lucy". Natsu said in a somewhat serious tone with Lisanna behind, I slammed the cup on his head which made him yelp from the force.
"You made me lose; I should kill you!". I said in a dark tone.
"Stop it, Lucy! this is serious!". He said angrily as he rubbed his head.
"What Natsu!? what!?". I said loudly in annoyance which caused some attention, he cleared his throat.
"Alone-".
"I ain't going nowhere! whatever you have to say, say it here to my face". I spoke.
"I don't want to embarrass you-".
"Hahahaha, embarrass me!? you!? hahahaha!". I said in humor which ticked him off.
"I'm kicking you off Team Natsu and replacing you with Lisanna! you've made no progress with your magic which is bringing my team down!". He said, everyone looked at me and expected me to cry hysterically and run out of the guild in embarrassment.
"Ok". I said with a shrug, they were in shock.
"O-Ok? that's all you have to say?". Lisanna said in shock and somewhat angry that she didn't receive the reaction she wanted.
"Yea, I mean, If I'm holding you back and Lisanna helps you in your missions then that's fine with me, I'm not bothered by it". I said.
"Oh-".
"I wish you luck, Lisanna, this guy likes to destroy things so don't expect a high check or none at all". I said as I patted his shoulder a bit hard which made him flinch every time I hit him.
