After our little reunion, I asked one of the servants to bring me some red and black clothes, which made them look at me weirdly, but they still got them for me. I could tell Wei Ying looked happier now that I was returning to my old colors.
After getting dressed, we decided to walk around and see how the students of Cloud Recesses handle the zombies and spirits. I mostly went to keep an eye on Lan Sizhui, not being able to shake this feeling about him, and something told me that something bad was going to happen. We just walked around to keep an eye on things in case something went wrong. It was already dark, so we couldn't be seen – we're more like night owls.

"I feel like it's going to be one crazy night, what will we do if they can't handle it?". I asked Wei Ying.
"It's nighttime so we'll be fine if it came down to us using our cultivation, we just can't go overboard again like in our past lives". He said as he held my hand.
"Right, but I can't shake off this weird feeling, it grows every second". I said worriedly.
"Don't worry, I'll protect you by any means necessary, just stay close to me and don't wander off on your own, I don't want you to get hurt". He said as he pulled me a bit closer.

"You know trouble always finds me, my love". I said, he rolled his eyes, and I stopped when I heard a thud from my side which made him stop as well.
"You heard something?". He asked.
"I heard a thud from that way". I replied.
"Let's go check it out". He said, I nodded as we made our way towards the sound, it was a bit dark so we couldn't see clearly what it was.
"Weird, everyone should be asleep by now". I said as we sat by a wall, it was too dark to see so we just stood where we were.
"Strange indeed". He said with his hand under his chin in deep thought, I suddenly felt a light on us which made us look, it was fat boy's servant.
"I-It's you!". He stuttered in horror, I blinked and then looked down.
'Oh shit'. I thought nervously.
