I looked at the card on my hand.

Is this for real?

I was in awe for a moment, then I realized what's in the message.

"He's outside!"

I looked for my hoodie, quickly grab my phone and got out of my room.

"Wait? Why would I even go there?"

What if he's not around anymore? What if, he's not waiting anymore?

I thought a lot of possibilities but still came up with a decision.

I will go and see him.

I went down from the third floor and went to look outside.

Where is he?

I scanned my surroundings and there he is!

He's leaning on his car, one foot raised forward, with his hands on both of his pockets. He's wearing a black leathered jacket paired with a denim blue faded jeans.

"Wang Yibo!"

I motioned to him and he walked towards me.

"Zhan-ge. Happy Birthday!"

He smiled brightly. All my annoyance to this man earlier faded away.

"Thank you."

I replied. I settled into the passenger seat and he also hopped inside.

"Where are we going?"
I asked. I buckled my seatbelt and wait for his answer.

"Secret."

"That's not fair!" I scowled. "You need to tell me where are we going or else I'll call the police and tell them you're kidnapping me."

"Zhan-ge, you're not a kid anymore."

"Okay, then it's handsome-napping."

Yibo looked at me, with disbelief in his eyes.

"Alright. Alright. Just tell me where are we going? Where are we eloping to?"

"Do you trust me?"

He said in a low, deep voice. I bit my lip, and looked away.

"Okay, if you say so."

I heard him chuckled, and he started the engine.

On our way, we just talked about some things that we missed. He asked me about the taping, how it went and I briefly narrated to him what happened earlier.

"Are we not there yet?"

"Not yet."

I yawned and looked at my watch. It's already 8 in the evening. I don't know where he'll take me. I admit, I got thrilled when he said we're going somewhere. It means, this will be our first date.
