Ch. 27

"They found a body at the store just down town of here." Jimin shares the information with Kim Namjoon, his co-worker at the fitness center. "Apparently, the manager of the store was dead for about 2 days."

"This world is getting crazier and crazier by the minute." Namjoon says as he cleans the countertop. Jimin agreed with him and began to make some coffee.

"They haven't even found the killer yet. Ji Eun is becoming very worried and is scared to go out. Even I'm scared."

"I would be too. Two murders in that district, I'd keep the doors locked at all times." Namjoon says. He wants to change the subject as he wasn't big on topics like that so he clears his mind. "I'm also sorry for what happened to your brother. I hope he's doing good. Has he woken up yet?"

   Jimin nods. "Yeah. He can't say anything though. He can't use his hands either since they were badly cut and nearly bashed to bits. But he's doing good. The swelling on his face went down, he doesn't need a breathing tube but he does hate the exercises."

"I'm glad to hear that." Namjoon smiles. "After work, I'll stop by and pay him a visit. I haven't seen him in months. I miss him coming in here just to keep me company."

   Jimin chuckles and pours the coffee ground into a filter. "Yeah. He was leaving to Georgia for college but I think he won't be leaving anymore. Our parents want him home as soon as possible."

"A good idea too. Listen, Jimin. I was thinking-" He sees his other co-worker, Nicholas "Nicky" Sparc, coming in. He greets both Namjoon and Jimin with a bow. "Hey Nicky, how's it going?" Namjoon converses with him in English. Brushing off the question he had for Jimin. Jimin was confused but paid no attention to it. Today him and Namjoon were working front. Sitting in a large room in front of two desktops and a monitor for the security cameras placed in the fitness room, studio and the halls of the building. Jimin didn't mind it. For once, he actually wanted to work the front today. Usually he would say no and stick to cleaning the facility but he felt like he needs to give this a chance and so he is.

   Nicky sets down his duffel bag. His hair, which was usually an ebony black left down or tied back, was cut short into a fade and dyed a a medium brown color. Matched his soft complexion and made his hazel eyes look brighter than usual. He had the face of a model, sharp jawline, a broad nose, full lips with a cupids bow. Perfectly smooth skin, no trace of acne or acne scars. The space between his eyes was perfect as well. He stood at six foot one, weighing one hundred and eighty five. Jimin was envious of his height and body. And the eyes. They were mesmerizing and hypnotic to him. Nicky smiled and gave a wave at Jimin which flustered him in seconds. It surprised Jimin so much how easily flustered he gets when Nicky either winks or waves at him. Was there a part of him that found Nicky to be attractive? Yes. Could he possibly have a little thing for handsome men? Maybe.

   For Jimin, he assumed he might be questioning his sexuality. Because there is a good amount of men he does find attractive. But he feels that he's more straight but some what a bit bi-curious. Though, he would need more time to think about it and figure it out. He can't just make up his mind in an a instant.

"It's going well. My girlfriend is coming in from Germany today. Aria is ecstatic and can't wait to be here."

"Oh that's so cool!"

"Right? I can't believe a whole year has gone by and my baby girl is coming to see me. Of course she's studying the language and she's having difficulty. It's going to be a big adjustment for her, but she's assured me that she's happy to be with me and can't wait to check out Seoul."

"I wish I had someone to love. Dude, you have to help me. I can't be the only single person working here." Namjoon hands Nicky a pen so he can sign his name in the sing-in sheet. "Yeah I was just about to ask Jimin for help." Namjoon points at him as he turns the coffee maker on.
