"Seo Min Gyu." Officer Eun-Hyuk says in a stern yet confident tone as he sat across from him in the interrogation room. "You're brought in for questioning."

"Questioning?" Min Gyu wore a gray pull over hoodie and navy blue sweats. They had stopped him as he was out for his daily run on. His bangs still cling to his forehead due to the sweat.

"On the night of So Hee's disappearance. You were the last person she went to see."

"Look I've already spoken with a detective about this. I'm cleared. I have an alibi." Min Gyu spoke defensively and slightly agitated. Eun-Hyuk was confused as this was the first time he had brought in Min Gyu for questioning. There was no paperwork done or an interrogation record of Seo Min Gyu since the disappearance of Choi So Hee.

"And who did you have this conversation with? Who can confirm your alibi?"

Min Gyu rolls his eyes and leans back into the chair, arms folded.

"I spoke with Detective Kim three weeks ago. He has my alibi confirmed. I was supposed to pick up So Hee but I was running late. I had to go drop off my baby sister at a hotel our aunt was staying at that night. The drive from my university to the hotel was 30 minutes. You could even check the security cameras from the university and the hotel my aunt was staying in that night."

"Mr. Seo, we don't have any detectives with the surname Kim in this department."

"What?"

Eun-Hyuk continues to look through the folder. No record shows of any interrogation done in this facility.

"Describe this person to me."

"Well, he had medium brown hair. Somewhat large eyes like he had gotten eyelid surgery. He seemed arrogant but also had some sense of humility and respect. His voice is deep, deeper than mine and sounded unique and husk."

Eun-Hyuk writes down the description of the said 'detective'. Min Gyu continued.

"He had this sort of feminine and masculine look to him. His jawline was well defined and had straight brows. He also had a beauty mark under his left eye, the button of his nose and his bottom right lip. Fair complexion."

Eun-Hyuk nods his head. This interrogation just became more interesting and was glad to have been recording it. He also looked concerned about it. Who could he have spoken to?

"Alright."

"What's wrong?" Min Gyu asks.

"Nothing. Let's just do this again. For the sake of So Hee. From the beginning, where were you the night she disappeared?"

Min Gyu didn't think anything of it. He just sighed and continued.

"I was heading out of the university to grab my laptop that I had forgotten prior. My baby sister sat in the front passenger seat of my car, waiting. I texted So Hee that evening and told her I'd pick her up by 7/11. I sent the text 20:59." He shows the text. "But I never got to go there right away because I forgot that my baby sister, Mina, needed to be dropped off first to the hotel my aunt stayed at for the night. Without sending a text to So Hee to let her know I'd be running late, I dropped off Mina to Josun Hotel. We got there around 21:30. Mina and I waited in the lobby of the hotel and then around 21:32, our aunt shows up and greets us. Taking Mina with her to the hotel room. I bid them goodnight and goodbye before leaving around 21:35."

"Alright. Did you then drive down to 7/11 to pick up So Hee?"

"Yeah. I took a shorter route and arrived there 20 minutes later at 21:55. I waited outside the convenience store for 15 minutes before I tried calling So Hee at 22:10. She never answered the first time so I called a second, then third and fourth until I gave up. Assuming she had taken a taxi home instead."
