Have you ever told a lie?
A lie you felt so horrible for?

Ji Eun received her sixth text for today. She ignored the texts and continued with her new job at her favorite convenience store just two blocks down from her place. Taehyung enters the store, greeting her with a smile. She returns a smile and then wipes down the countertop as she chooses a song to play throughout the store through built in speakers. She choose a song by Got7, her favored song titled 'Fly'.

She quickly grabbed the keys to the register and hurried to Taehyung's side. She was very thankful for him because he was the one who recommended his boss to hire her. Despite not knowing a lot about her, Taehyung acted as if they were best friends since high school and she needed a job. His boss was actually looking to hire another cashier to work evening shifts and he wanted someone reliable and focused. She fit the criteria and hired her almost immediately after an over the phone interview.

"Thank you so much."

"You're welcome. And what are you thanking me for?" Taehyung grabs a carton of soy milk and some fresh cut fruit.

"For helping me get a job. I owe you one, Oppa."

"No problem Ji Eun." He flashes her his adorable smile before browsing the candy section. Ji Eun followed behind him and browsed as well since she wanted to have something sweet. "Listen, I've been invited to a party and I was wondering if you'd like to come along."

"Me? Oh, I don't know." She twiddles her fingers out of nervousness. "I don't really go out much and I prefer to stay in."

"Come on Eunnie." He had called her the nickname Jimin uses. She remained silent for a few seconds before opening her mouth to speak.

"I have a boyfriend, Taehyung."

Taehyung remains unbothered and with a soft yet sweet smile he asks again. She shakes her head at how goofy he was being and then winks at her as he heads towards the counter. Ji Eun walks behind and puts the key in, unlocking the register and then scans the groceries he was buying. Her silence was taken as a 'yes'. Besides, all he wanted was to hang out with Ji Eun and just be friends.

"So, what are you wearing to the party?"

She scans a pack of oreos and then places them in the bag.

"I don't know. I'm not a party person. Maybe I'll wear something casual."

Taehyung makes a face at her and shakes his head no.

"I'll buy you a dress then. What size do you wear?"

Ji Eun widens her eyes, "Oh please no. You don't have to buy anything for me. You've done enough by getting me this job. I have a few dresses I can wear, how about that?" Taehyung chuckles and holds out some cash. "Your total is twenty seven thousand won. With a discount, since you work here, your total is twenty three thousand won."

Taehyung hands her the said amount and outs the rest back into his wallet. He nods his head and grabs the bag of groceries.

"I'll stop by around 8:30. Your shift ends soon but I might run a bit late because I'll be helping my dad before then. Bring your boyfriend too if you'd like."

"Okay."

"Bye bye." Taehyung gives a cute little wave and heads out. Ji Eun returns a small wave and tells him he'll see him later. She sits down and notices another unread text. She opens it and reads it.

Most importantly, do you know you've been lied to?

"What?" She says before replying. She could have ignored these texts but each and every time she would always reply. Thus causing the other person to continuously bother her. She should have known better but her anger towards this anonymous person would get the best of her and she always wanted to have something to say.
