Antoniel's POV
I'm busy for weeks. I got one call while making paperworks. It's Gracia for real. I answered it excitedly. She got an accident but not so serious. She's unconscious for 2 days and got awake. Her sister just called me but I won't be able to visit her during those times with tons of paperworks.
"Are you okay for now ma'am? Wala na ba masakit? "
"Opo. Salamat sa pag-alala. I'm okay now and no need to worry. Pwede ako magtanong?"
"Oo naman. Ano yun,"tanong ko.
"Can you, uhm, visit in my house? Sabi kasi ni mommy may sasabihin daw siyang mahalaga if it's okay with your schedule? 7pm pa naman. "
"Sure ma'am . Kahit ano pa yan, I'll make it up to you."
After the conversation I hang up the phone. Work again.
It's almost 5:00 pm when I finish it. Sobrang tagal. I got 1 hour to prepare. Pagkatapos ng shift ko, I ride my car pauwi. Bukas ang unit ko. I think my roommate just got home but no because usually his one week away from work. I got my gun and ready it. Pumasok na ako ng dahan-dahan. I heard noises from the kitchen. It's the utensils. I was about to point the gun when I saw a familiar figure.
"Shit! I almost kill you." Sabi no dito. Lumingon ito sa akin. There is my childhood bestfriend and she's my ex too. Anong ginagawa kaya niya dito?
"Anton, I'm sorry I enter your unit like an intruder. Kumusta na?"
"I'm fine. How did you open it? Don't tell me, your a hacker already. "
"Stupid. I ask your roommate for it."
"Bakit ka nandito? It's been years since you left for London. Bakit mo naisipan bumalik?"
She sat down on the chair near the table. This woman never change. She wears tattered shorts and hanging blouse which kinda revealing.
"I'm here to stay for good. Para di naman maging boring buhay mo."She cheerfully said.
"Boring? Maybe it's you feeling bored."
"I'm doing something interesting. anyway, how was work?"
"Busy and boring."
Tumawa ito." You said your life was not boring." For the past years, I am always on field. There were times I risk my life. But it was the best for me. Ngayon, nakakapagod at walang thrill dahil madalas opisina ako.
"Anyway, ill make a quick shower. May lakad pa ako." I immediately goes to the bathroom. After 10 minutes, lumabas na ako. I'm just wearing a towel when I got out from shower. I'm busy choosing my clothes when I heard Monika talk.
"Sàan ba yang date mo? At gulong-gulo ka sa paghahanap ng damit."
"Someone special."
"May kapalit na pala ako?"
Napalingon ako dito.
"Huh?"
"Kidding. Anyway, seryoso na ba yan?"
"Yeah. Ikaw may lakad ka?"
"Sort of."
Nakapili din ako ng damit. I choose the light blue colored polo and pair it with white jeans. Namili din ako ng sapatos. I choose the leather sneakers. Naupo sa labas si Nika. Busy with her phone.
"Is it good?"
She look at me.
"Mukha ka ng tao." While grinning.
"serious please."
"Your handsome. No need to ask."
Tumayo na siya.
"I gotta go. Kwento ka nalang pagkatapos date mo okay."
Umalis na ito at naiwan ako. Getting my final look.
