Today is the mission. I hope this goes well. Ayoko na magtagal pa dito. I badly wanted to be with her.

The target is in an abandoned building somewhere in Toledo, Cebu. His transactions with the Americans will happen exactly 6:00 pm in the evening.

We positioned ourselves in different corners of the building. Nasa rooftop ang sniper. Kitang-kita ni Martinez sa taas ang napakaraming tauhan. Sa mga sulok din nakikita namin ang iilang nakabantay dito.

Dahan-dahan kaming naglakad sa mismong mga target.
"Hands on your heads,"natigilan ang mga ito at humarap sa amin.
"We have the warrant of arrest. For Mr. Francisco Beltran and we have direct orders also to arrest Mr. Smith and Mr. Butcher."
Their mens have no chance to make their move because they were surrounded by the back up team. The military team.
"Team Leader, akala ko may action, but it turns out, no sweat wasted." Si Rodriguez. Nakababa na din si Martinez.

Natawa nalang ito. Nakuha namin sa area ang ilang high powered guns, 4 na atache case na may lamang pera at drugs na ipapalit sana at pampasabog.

Lumapag ang helicopter exactly 09:00 hours. I feel sleepy and tired at the same time. I called Daniel to fetch me. I change to plain white shirt and rugged jeans. Pair it with rubber shoes.
"Team Leader, mauna na kami." Si Martinez at Salvacion. Magkalapit lang daw kasi ang bahay nila.
It's almost 10 pm ng makarating si Daniel. I can see in his eyes his tired for nigh shift. "Sorry bro, I cannot call someone other than you."
"It's fine. Pauwi na din ako."
Sumakay agad ako at pinatakbo niya ito. Habang nasa sasakyan kami kinausap ko ito. "Dan, can I ask any favor?"
He just nod to me. So I continue speaking. "I wanna surprise Gracia. It's hard to think what to do."
"A candle light dinner I think will do."
"I think it's not a good idea. Para sa birthday niya ang tinutukoy ko."
"Hmm. Mahihirapan nga tayo."
Ganito pala kahirap ang magsorpresa ng tao lalo pa at espesyal sayo. Napasandig ako sa drivers seat at napahilamos sa mukha.
"I have 2 days to prepare."
"Kakayanin pa yan. Don't think too much."
I agree with him. Maybe I'm worrying too much. Narating namin ang condo unit. Pagpasok ko palang sa loob, I badly wanted to sleep. I dropped myself to bed.
The warm fabric touch my back make me feel relax. I let myself drift to sleep.

I wake up hungry. Hindi pala ako kumain kagabi. I let myself out of the bed.
"Good morning," it's her voice. Damn! I miss her that's why I'm having hallucinations.
Tumalikod na ako pupuntang banyo pero may nagsalita ulit. "That's how you greet your girlfriend." I immediately face the one talking. I blink few times but she's still standing looking at me weirdly.
"No hug for me." She's here! That's for real. I run towards her and give my tight hug.
"Your here. I miss you so much."
I can feel her warmth for real. I let go of her. Nagtataka pa rin ako bakit siya nandito. "Your welcome bro."
"He called me. Tinawagan ako nito earlier this morning. Mga 4:00 am."
"Why did you disturb her bro? She's in the middle of her sleep."
"It's okay sir. Basta ikaw. I made you breakfast for us."
Naupo na kami sa dining area at start eating. "Your a good cook Gracia. I can eat edible food."
"Really? It's your last eating bro."
"Seriously? Your bad."
Nagpaalam si Daniel na lalabas. Naiwan kaming dalawa.
"So, how was it?"
"It's fine. Nothing happens bad to me."
"Dapat lang. I wanted you to be okay. Di ko alam----,"I cut her off by kissing her. She responded to it. A simple kiss turns to passionate one. We let go each other catching our breaths.
"I love you ma'am. No matter what happen I'll return to you."
"I love you too and I will look for you if you don't comeback."
It's how our day ended. But I keep thinking what to give on her birthday. I wanted to give what she deserve.
