Nang nakatulog na si Gracia ay nagpaalam akong umalis para alamin ang progress tungkol sa kaso. I reach the headquarters after 1 hour ride. Sinalubong agad ako ng kasama ko. " I'm glad your here officer Toni. We confirmed her location but it's not us doing the operation"

"Why?"

"Chief told us, magiging back up nalang Tayo in case hindi maging success. Sir, the search warrant were released mismo sa police station sa location ng target."

"Okay. But still we need to prepare. Assemble the team, okay?"

After the preparation we're off to go. While on the van, I call her. At first, she was shock because it's too urgent. But I explain it that's why she's not worried anymore. She also told me that she will have check up sa nararamdaman niya. I hope it's not so serious.

"Really?! Arresting me will not happen. I will surely k----,"hindi nito natapos ng bumulagta siya sa sahig. Balak niya akong balarin at nasa likod ko pala ang isang pulis din. Pinaputukan niya ito. Dinaluhan ko agad ito. Naupo ako sa tabi niya at inilagay ang ulo sa binti ko.

"Bakit ganito??..... Nagmahal.....lang naman....ako.....At gusto.......ko......lang....mahalin......mo.......ako pabalik......"

"Tama na. Huwag ka nang magsalita. Maraming nagmamahal sayo. Your twin sister. "

"Pakisabi......sa.......kanya.......mahal.....ko .....siya.......at patawad.........na rin......sa inyo..."

She's dead after sàying it. Isang sigaw narinig ko mula sa labas. "What happen?! Amore, my sister! What's happening?!" Nakita niyang nakahiga ang kapatid na wala nang buhay. Lumapit agad ito.

"Toni, bakit?! Why you let it happen?! Amore, wake up. I'm sorry for not hearing you out. I love you so much,"naiiyak na sabi nito. Malayang pumapatak ang luha niya.

"Sorry Monika. It shouldn't happen. She almost killed me but the other police help me out. He shot Amore."

"Hindi ko alam. She's the only one I left. We always quarrel but I never wanted her to die."

"Nandito pa ako at si Gracia. I know it's hard to accept but I know God has it's reasons. I forgive her already and Gracia for sure."

Inilagay ang bangkay niya sa stretcher at kailangan daw dalhin sa morgue. "Thank you to your team Officer Barrameda." Nagkamay na kami at pumunta na ako s ako kotse.

"Monika, condolence on your loss. Don't worry we're here to help." Niyakap ko ito at ilang saglit bumitaw na ako.

"Thank you."

Umalis na pabalik sa headquarters. I badly wanted to hug her but I am more worried how will I say that Amore was already dead.

Pagkahatid ko sa kanila nagpalit agad ako sa comfortable clothes. I drive my own car. On my way, someone called me. I answer it without looking at the screen.

"I miss you my son." I step to my car brake. It's been so many years since I heard her voice. "I know it's hard for you to forgive me. I'm sorry anak. Gusto kitang makita."

I just end the call. She's my mother but it's too hard to talk this long to her after so many years. Though I'm longing for her but my mind was not cooperating. I wanted her to feel my pain. Being alone living your life to survive with no support was like hell.

I reach Gracia's condo with my mind fleeing somewhere. I suddenly felt heavy within me. As if I was bringing tons of load in my body. Mas nakakapagod isipin ito kaysa misyong ginagawa ko.

She approach me with a bright smile in her face. I felt home in her arms. Yumakap ako dito. "I want rest."

"Oo naman. Wala dito si mommy at si Gift kasi inaasikaso nila ang insurance para sa bahay. Pandagdag sa pagpapagawa niya nang bago."

"Okay. I wanted to sleep and later I'll tell you everything."

"Sige. Hindi kita iistorbohin. May surprise din ako para sayo. Later nalang." She kiss my lips and pinaayos ako nang pagkakahiga. I just close my eyes to rest my mind and heart.
