Noah's POV

Ok I'll admit it. I did go a bit mad scientist on Jake and Gia. But, at least I learned that my teammates were fine physically. I did also notice that both Jake and Gia had higher brain activity than usual, at lease compared to me. Yes I scanned my own brain but in my defence that was both a test run and me wanting to see what my brain activity looked like. My point is that the monsters blast did something to their minds but I didn't know what.

I also learned never to have over eight cups of strong coffee with extra sugar at 3 AM. It messes with your mind. Badly.

After our first few lessons, we all had a long break so we decided to put our books in our lockers and head out for a drink. I was waiting in a doorway waiting for Jake who was talking to Gia. Troy and Emma were in a different classroom a few doors down so we were going to wait for them here. Suddenly a large group of guys came speed walking up to Gia loudly proclaiming their love for her and asking her to be their girlfriend. I was very taken aback by this and it was at this exact moment that Troy and Emma showed up. With Gia all flustered from the seemingly endless amounts of chocolates, flowers, letter and small teddy bears that were literally being shoved in her face and locked.

Emma's POV (I don't write as Emma enough)

"What's going on here?" I asked Noah as we cautiously walked over to him keeping well away from Gia getting swarmed with boys loudly proclaiming that 'she was their true love' and 'they couldn't live on without her' etc. etc. Troy moved slightly in front of me as we approached probably to keep me from being their next victim. I was more than happy to let him protect me like this. I could see and could run away easily, but Troy was there to step in if I needed it. It was sweet.

We stood next to Noah and watching in amazement as these boys, and some girls upon closer inspection, poorer their hearts and soles out to someone we knew would reject them. This was unusual even for Valentine's Day which was still and few days away. Then Gia spoke.

Gia's POV

This is refocus. People were crowding around me kneeling down, presenting gifts, reciting poetry, all at the same time so all I was hearing was 'love, girlfriend, I, me, you, kiss and boyfriend' I think I heard a few marry and children in there too but it was such a mad jumble it was hard to tell. I looked over to Jake and he looked slightly upset but I felt like he knew this would happen at some point or another. This upset me a little that he wasn't willing to fight for me but I didn't blame him, I wouldn't fight that many crazed lovers either.

I had a bad feeling that Heartted was involved so I didn't want to break their hearts but I couldn't let them go on thinking that something might happen when I wouldn't. I needed to let them down gently and I had the perfect way to do so and cheer Jake up as well.

"Ok everyone listen" I yelled as I held my hands up trying to quiet them down which they did, thankfully. "Ok listen. I'm shore your all lovely people and anyone, anyone, would be so lucky to have you for a boyfriend or girlfriend. But that person isn't me. I already love someone and I don't want to cheat on them by making you feel better. Most of you wouldn't work out and I don't want to lead you on. There are plenty of other girls here that you're ignoring trying to get with me. So go and find someone who will love you with all of there heart and will be a better girlfriend than me." I think I let them down gently enough. I knew that they were under Heartted's spell but I couldn't lead them on.

"Who is it?" Was the only response. They all looked at me with sad but slightly hopeful eyes. Man this was gonna hurt. Goodbye pride, here goes nothing.

"Jake." I stated looking over to him. His face was like a kid at Christmas! The others looked both shocked and upset but not heart broken which was good I think. But to be on the safe side I decided to attempt to lighten the mood.

"Now you have to go and find your love." I shooed them a way a little with encouragement and pointed out to some people who I would suggest for them. Once all was said and done a walked over to Jake who was still grinning from ear to ear.

"You like me hu?" He said smugly. It was infuriating and irresistible at the same time.

"Shut up and kiss me." I replied with the same smugness. I grabbed his collar and yanked him towards me smashing his lips against mine. He was a little taken aback at first but soon gave in and gave as good as he got. I don't know if it was the monsters spell that was making me do this or my own feelings but I didn't care. I liked it. That's right. I like Jake and it's time he and the whole school knows.

Jakes POV

OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!

Slightly shorter chapter today but this is the moment that was on my mind when I first thought of this fanfic despite it being a mainly Tremma fanfic but I'll get onto that bit next chapter. I was going to make them one but I was having too much fun with Jake's childish response.
