A shopping we will go

Emma's POV

We were all heading to the brain freeze to celebrate the new couple and Noah asked me to take Lots of pictures. I was of course more than happy to comply with his request. We sat in our usual places, Noah, Jake, Gia, me, Troy then back to Noah. The only main difference this time is that Jake had his arm around Gia and she wasn't pushing him away. I did as Noah instructed and took far to many pictures of the two. Noah then suggested after we had all finished that he, Jake, and Troy all go shopping for Valentine's gifts whilst Gia and I go to do the same on our own to keep it a surprise. Jake was obviously onboard strait away and the others  agreed. Gia and I then left arm in arm leaving the boys at the brain freeze and going shopping.

Gia's POV

First we decided to go to the sports shop as Jake was obsessed with football and sports in general. When we got there we soon realised that we had no idea what to get him at all. We looked at boots, equipment, outfits, but nothing seemed right. Jake probably knew exactly what to get me and I had no idea what to get him. I was begging to get worried when my bestie came up to me after vanishing for two minutes - thanks for that Em - but she came back with the perfect idea.

"What if we got him a football signed by his favourite player?" 

"Emma. Your a Genius!" I exclaimed. Her idea was perfect. But there was one problem.
"Wait. How will we get his favourite player to sign a football for us?" I asked devastated that the perfect gift had seemingly slipped right through our fingers.

"You leave that to me just go buy a football and something to keep it in." Emma instructed. She has a mischievous glint in her eyes and it honestly scared me a little. After staring at her for a few seconds I slowly walked away to get a good ball for our play. Or rather Emma's plan. I've never seen Emma being so mysterious and borderline bad but I decided to go with it mostly out of curiosity. I bought a white ball with blue accents and a bag to keep it in for now. I also got a stand for it so that Jake could display it once I gave it to him. If Emma could get the signature that is....

Back with the boys

Jakes POV

"What the hell am I going to get Gia!" I exclaimed after the girls left. I immediately put my head in my hands on the table in utter defeat at my whole situation. Troy and Noah tried to comfort me by patting my back and saying that we will find something but I didn't have high hopes. I love Gia and to my mind there is very few gift that will be perfect for her.

Troy's phone buzzed and he looked at it and asked me a question that I thought he would have known.

"Hey Jake who's your favourite football player?"

"Maxwell Johnstone why?" {I didn't know what to put so I made him up. He lives near where the rangers do}

"No reason just wondering" he replied with a slight smirk and typed something into his phone. He then decided that it was time for us to go and got Noah to help him drag me up and out of Ernie's. There excuse?

"The girls live clothes shopping so maybe we can find something that they might like."

Noah's POV

Did Troy just say for the Girls? As in plural? Is he going to get Emma a gift!?

Anyway, we Had to get Jake out of the brain freeze before he started ordering 20 ice cream Sundays for himself and his despair. We headed for the clothe shops and Troy began to text someone a lot, he kept on smiling too which was weird for him. I decided to ignore it and try and come up with a plan on what Jake should get Gia for Valentine's Day. Troy then had a great idea.

"What if you got her a necklace? She always wears that tree one, so what if you got her one that's a tiger or with our super mega symbol?" I don't know where this came from but Troy was a gift idea genius. Throw some chocolate and flowers in and you have the perfect yet still slightly cliche gift for the new girlfriend.

Jake perked up immediately to the point were I thought he would kiss Troy. He bolted it down to the jewellers and me and Troy had to sprint to keep up. He was on a mission and nothing else mattered, it was kind of freaky actually. After we caught up Jake was already talking to one of the employees about getting a necklace made of a tiger head. We went over to help but Troy soon split off and looked at some other stuff. This was my cue to test my theory: do Troy and Emma like each other?

"What ya looking at Troy?" I asked over his shoulder making him jump out of his skin.

"Just alternatives if Jake can't fat what he wants." Was he trying to make me laugh. He said it so casually that I nearly believed him but he was looking a an E necklace. As in E for Emma. My theory was all but proven by this point and I was about to confront him about it when we saw Jake bouncing over to us looking like he was on cloud 9.

"I have found the perfect necklace And bracelet for Gia AND I'm getting them engraved right now." He declared with added emphasis on both and's. We congratulated him and decided to look at the boxes whilst we waited for the engraving to be done.

One friend had the perfect gift for his girlfriend and now so does the other. He just didn't know it yet.

Yep I'm back. Sorry for the long delay but I've found my groove again and now that I am on half term I am more than happy to start writing again. I will try and stick to my one chapter every two days but I can't guarantee it. As always let me know what you think and I'll see you soon.
