CHAPTER 7 - Two Identities

Hunter POV

I was in my room (in the Owl House) thinking about that marriage i was forced with Edric, I mean i was only dating him 2 days now, But him not knowing my identity was a problem for this plan with Eda and the others.

I'm going to have to marry my own boyfriend without showing my identity, He might think i'm a freak..

Eda came through the door not literally, "Hey kid i see you look kinda like something happened there in the Castle, Anything wrong?" Eda said closing the door behind her, and walking up to me, "Nothing much just some forced stuff he will make me do.." I sigh as Eda sits on the bed and looks at me confused.

"Whats the matter kiddo, and what information did you get?" Eda said putting a hand on my shoulder,

"Well my boyfriend doesn't know  i'm the Golden Guard, Emperor Belos forced me into marriage with him not knowing i was dating him, and he can not tell anyone about me going to have a husband.." I start to chuckle as i was going crazy and Eda looked at me a bit worried..

Eda opened her arms for a hug, and i was crying on her shoulder as she was patting my back, "It's ok.. You'll be free from this soon, but for now you need to keep the act up....", I was crying more and more till after a few minutes i stoped and Eda told me we could go bake some cookies with Luz and King.

I agreed and we both went down, i was wiping the tears out of my face and gave a smile at my mother..

*The Next Day*

It was the next day and i was woken up by something annoying or may i say someone, "HUNTER WAKE UP!!! EDA NEEDS US AT THE MARKET NOW!!!" I sat up and ran out of bed getting Rascal and changing while Luz went downstairs to get the her palisman and waited for me with Eda and King, I got down hitting my face on the door.

We all got onto our staffs and flew to the market, A few hours passed and we were already just standing there still, Luz helping with information, Mom showing the stuff and basically in charged, While me and King where just getting the stuff. I was still wearing the cloak as always and looking down without saying a word..

Two hours passed and Mom decided to make us all finish early since i had to act as the Golden Guard and Luz, Mom and King basically spying, and well thats all.

When we got home i changed into my armor which i hated since it was so uncomfortable but, it will keep my identity as the Golden Guard and keep me safe from danger, I went out early while the others where still getting ready.

I finally arrived at the Emperors Castle, i soon went to my room where i was surprised to see Edric sitting on my bed while reading a book about wild magic (He brought his glasses with him), "Hello new my new fiancé" He looked at me with the same face before, the face of no emotions.. 

"H-h-hello.. Didn't expect you to be here.." My voice started cracking as i knew my boyfriend acts different near me as the Golden Guard, he's not that loving, he's more like Emperor Belos when he.......

....Gets very mad....

Edric POV

I got up from the bed went over to the Golden Guard and just pushed him on the bed, i got on top of him and i simply just pulled of his mask, but before i could see his face he pushed me off and covered his face with a pillow.

I got mad and simply walked towards him and tried to take his hands off the pillow and show his face, but he didn't let go.

I slowly just used my spell to turn me invisible and act like i was out of the room and he fell for it, I saw his face and tears were forming from my eyes, It was Hunter.
