Rays of the dim morning sun fell through the curtains of the bedroom window, and when he opened his eyes, it occured to him that neither of them had cared to close the blinds last night, because that would have meant one of them had to get up and leave the arms of the other for something that wasn't of importance for either of them.

He wrapped his arms a little closer around the petite, naked form he was spooning from behind, as to protect her and to never let her go.

This had been crazy two weeks, but also the most beautiful two weeks of his life. A lot had happened. This was finally out in the open, and while he had his problems to wrap his head around it and to adjust, it had turned out to be fine in the end. If anything, it had only brought them closer together and had caused him to stop spiraling in negativity about a part of the entertainment industry he was not going to be able to change and finally make his peace with it. They had gone on a beautiful first date and had spend time together being out and about, simply enjoying themselves. And while they had already lived together as a couple whenever he had been in LA in the last 6 months (which had been a lot more than was publicly known, he proudly admitted), this had been a bit different. Because he had gotten a glimpse of what it would be like to be living as a family when his daughter had been with them. Seeing her interact with the girl was one of the most heartwarming things he had experienced in years. It was a loss to the world that she never had kids of her own. In a way, he felt sad for her, and while he would never in his life want to trade in this beautiful kid and he had never regretted starting a family with his ex wife, it also made him a little bit sad thinking of how the two of them could have had all of this together if they had not been so stupid back in the day. But since that did not help anybody, he always was quick to push the thought away, instead trying to focus on the beautiful life that was ahead of them.

He still could not believe that in a few short months, he would get that all of the time. Being with her. Truly living with her - well for a good portion of the year, and long time spans - and being a family whenever he had the girl with him. That was really and truly everything he could have asked for in life.

He wrapped his arms around her even closer, never wanting to let go of her.

She moaned softly, putting her hand on his forearm, stroking it before placing a gentle kiss on it, then she turned around in his arms so that her face was now close to his, before opening her eyes to look at him. He gently rubbed his nose against hers, then he kissed her softly.

"What time is it?"

"Around 9 am. We still have some time..."

"Good", she replied before she leant in for a more intense kiss this time. She softly let her fingertips glide up and down his spine leaving what felt like a trail of fire. After a few minutes, this addicting feeling had him lightheaded, which was also caused by the blood leaving his head as it was needed in other areas of his body, as she was slinging her leg around his thigh grinding her hips against him. When he felt she was getting just as worked up as him, he grabbed the pit her knee and rolled to his back, pulling her with him so that she landed on top of him. AFter she guided them to become one, they looked at each other, rubbing noses against each other, taking their time and enjoying each other to the fullest, knowing it had to bring them over the next couple of days.

After they both stumbled over the edge together, they remained in each other's arms for a little while longer. After another sweet kiss, he looked at the alarm clock on the night stand and sighed:

"We really need to get up if we want to have breakfast before we have to leave. How about I head to the shower first and then make us something to bite while you get ready?"
