"DAD?"

Naestatwa ako sa kinatatayuan ko dahil sa nakita ko, Dad is here, Damn it!

"I heard you have a boyfriend here? is it true?" lalo akong nanigas sa kinatatayuan ko ng marinig ang tanong ni Dad.

Malumanay pa yun ngunit malamig ang tono niyon, alam kong galit na si Dad ngayon, he really hates when I keep secret from him.

"Dad, I-I" I can't compose any words nor sentence I'm too nervous too, he's looking into my eyes directly.

"Answer me Xaylaine" lalo lang akong napako ng tawagin na niya ang pangalan ko. Tinatawag lang ako ni Dad sa pangalan ko pag galit na siya or may nagawa akong mali.

"What if she have?" matapang na sagot ni Mom kay Dad kaya nabaling ang atensyon ni Dad kay Mom.

"Really? You really tolorate your daughter? She's too young for that" giit ni Dad kay Mom pero di naman nagpatinag si Mom.

"Too young?! Really? She's nineteen years old for god sake, Xian. My daughter is now a lady, she's not a girl anymore" giit din ni Mom na inilingan ni Dad.

"Our daughters are still young, Laine. My daughters are just nineteen years of age, My Xaylaine and Xayrille is still my Baby" giit din ni Dad.

"Do you think they would be happy if you control them?" tanong ni Mom kay Dad. Tila ba nasampal si Dad ng katotohanan ng sabihin iyon ni Mom sa kanya.

"Still the old days, this is the reason why your marriage didn't work anymore" sagot ni Kein with cold voice I can't see the sweet and lovely Kein, the sister I know.

"You can't control us Dad, were now at our right age, Xay can have her own life now, and I have too" sabi ni Kein at lumapit sakin.

"Do you have a boyfriend here?" tanong ulit ni Dad sakin, huminga muna ako ng malalim bago sumagot.

"Y-yes Dad" sagot ko kita ko naman kung paano dumaan ang frustrated sa mata ni Dad.

"I sent you here, for your mother and for your sister not for man" sabi ni Dad at base sa tono niya ay para ko siyang diniss-appoint kahit totoo naman.

"He's a good man Dad, I swear" sabi ko at hinawakan si Dad sa braso niya pero iniwas niya yun.

"Who is that man?" tanong ni Dad pero di siya makatingin mismo sa mga mata ko.

"D-dad" utal kong tawag sa kanya pero ramdam ko na desidido si Dad na malaman kung sino ang tinutikoy ko.

"Answer me, what is the name of this man?" may diin pa din na bigkas ni Dad, kahit kinakabahan man, ay sumagot pa din ako.

"E-Evance, Dad" sabi ko habang nahihirapan banggitin ang pangalan na meron siya. "Evance Paulo Bautista-Pier"

"What?!" napaigtad ako sa gulat ng sumigaw si Dad, he look at me now, he's really disappointed in me.

"How?! To that man?! That is your boyfriend?! And you let her?! Why?! His mother is your Best Friend?!" galit na sagot ni Dad kay Mom.

"Let her be, Xian, support your daughter to her own happiness" sabi ni Mom pero hindi pa din matinag si Dad.

"Why? This is how you raise my another daughter? Just like this? You didn't take care of her, your letting your daughter in da-" Dad cut his own words when Kein take a step and slap Dad without hesitation.

"Never questioned my Mom, how can she raise me or how she take care of me! Your not here when were struggling so never talk to my mother like that, I can forget who you are or what your position in my life if you ever questioned my Mother, you never know every struggle we've been through!"
