Kim Sunoo was excited to have someone live in the room he could see from his window.

No one ever used the room so when his mum told him there will be other people living with the elderly couple, he thought that could mean someone would be using the room.

Now that he saw it was someone around his age, he was elated.

So here he is, waiting at his bay window for the girl.

Jung Gyeoul is currently marching around her room. She thought cleaning her room was a pain but man, moving to a completely different place and a completely different room is worse.

She just finished fixing her closet and cabinets and has moved to fixing her table—which she was slowly getting annoyed about but she had to do it, it's not like someone could do it for her.

As she was arranging her table, she notices the same guy who waved at her waiting at his window for something.

Confused, she was about to look away when the guy noticed her and waved, smiling brightly.

Gyeoul, realizing he must've been waiting for her, waved back kindly.

He motions her to wait and steps away from the window to get something.

Again, a confused Gyeoul was left watching him roam around his room looking for something, slightly chuckling, finding his actions cute.

The guy came back with what seemed like a pen and a notebook. He motions her to wait again and writes on the paper then placing it against the window for her to see.

"hi! i'm your neighbor, Kim Sunoo :)", she reads.

Gyeoul found this scene familiar but chuckled and quickly looked at her desk, thanking herself for already putting her notebooks and pens neatly on the desk.

She wrote a hi back and her name, then flipping to another page to write something.

"what's up neighbor! good to know you like Ms. Taylor Swift", Gyeoul watches him laugh and shows him the page she wrote her name on.

"i'm good. just wanted to make friends with the new neighbor. it's been a while since i saw a new neighbor who looks around my age.", he wrote back.

"maybe you could tell me your number so we can talk properly?", he shyly raises the board, not looking at her for a while.

Gyeoul nodded and thought of something to write back,

"yeah sure why not! we can stop acting like we're from the you belong with me mv + let's not waste too much paper."

She watches him laugh yet again. Gyeoul admires his smile, he laughs prettily too, kinda looked like he was dying of laughter but he looked pretty while laughing.

He nodded his head and waited for her to write her number before writing his own.
