Chapter 32 Queens Castle

(Y/N) POV:

We had just solved a puzzle with mice in it and now arrived close to the queens castle. "We're close to the fountain guys!" Ralsei said smiling. "It's Queen's mansion!" He added. "H-Huh?! Wait why did we come here?!" Noelle asked. There was a slight whoosh and the noise of a jet engine meaning only one thing. Queen was here. "Ah shit here we go again" I sighed. "Kris you brought Noelle right to me!" Queen said cheerily. "Unfortunately trucies are over. Noelle get over here" Queen demanded. "But I... I..." Noelle stuttered and stammered. "Noelle I will only say it one time, infinitely" Queen said before saying "Get over here" on repeat. "Noelle... are you hesitating?" Queen asked. "Let me if then this for you. How about if you don't listen then a certain bird will take a ride in the acid river" Queen threatened. "B-Berdly?!" Noelle asked. 

Susie, Noelle and Ralsei seemed shocked she'd do a thing. Me and Kris seemed a bit more calm, me because I hated him being such an ass. Noelle walked over to Queen. "I'm sorry everyone, I... I wish I could've stayed with you longer but... I... I can't let Berdly get hurt" Noelle said. "Don't be sad Noelle honey all that remains is the final step" Queen said before Berdly walked in. "My splendorious queen there you are!" He said grinning. "Sorry I thought I saw you in a used game store but- Oh Noelle, are you okay? Berdly asked. Queen just sat there unphased. "Okay plan b" She said before capturing Noelle in a cage. "I see now her will must be unleashed by force, perhaps if I make her face into a robot one?" Queen pondered.

"But you said you woudn't do that if I-" Berdly was cut off. "Variable, Lying set to true" She simply responded. "We were going to be smart together! That's not fair!" Berdly shouted. "Understood, fairness activated" Queen said. Suddenly cages flew up. "Not on my watch!" I said jumping to save Susie however instead she fell over and we both got caught. "Umpf! Nice going dumb ass" Susie said snarkily. "You said I could trust you! You said you were a gamer!" Berdly shouted. "Berdly... I only play mobile games" Queen stated. "NOOOOOOOOO" He shouted. "You bastard, mobile is the worst platform!" I said as I was a hardcore gamer. "One of you is going to help me with my plans and it's Noelle, the rest of you. Go to your rooms" Queen demanded as the cages flew off.

Susie POV:

We were in a pinkish room and by we I meant me and (Y/N) who was crushing me in this cage. "Ugh can you make some room?" I asked. "I'm trying" (Y/N) said. "This woulda been so much comfortable if you had just-" I got cut off. "Let you get captured? Susie I was trying to push you out of the way.... but I must've made things worse huh?" (Y/N) asked. "... it ain't that I just am pissed is all" Susie sighed. Queen suddenly showed up on screen. "How do you like your new rooms units? As you can see they're perfectly suited to your interests" Queen said. "Which I gleaned from your internet search history" She added. "WHAT?!" (Y/N) asked before then shutting his mouth. "Oh relax it's not like I got your incognito search" Queen said before laughing. (Y/N) let out a sigh of relief. 

"I predict you shall have no desire to leave! Please tantalize yourself with your surroundings." Queen said continuing her little charade. "And wait patiently while I dominate the world!" she added. "Toodles". As she finished the cage opened up. "Ugh finally... Not gonna lie being in a tight space with ya was kinda weird but not bad I guess" I told (Y/N). "Aye look over there" (Y/N) said pointing to a large megaphone looking thing. I walked up to it. "K... Kris can ya hear me?!" I asked. "Looks like there's a way to communicate through rooms" I told them. "I really thought of everything didn't I?" Queen asked. "SHUT UP!" I shouted at her. "Anyway let's think of a way to get out of here" I said to Kris. "Got any ideas (Y/N)?" I asked the (F/C) armored human. "Not many, perhaps that computer over there" He said. "Alright, maybe Ralsei might know, Ralsei got any bright ideas? Ralsei? Hey where the hell's Ralsei?" I asked Kris.

There was a soft and feminine scream. "Damn that soft and tender screaming Kris that's gotta be him" I said. (Y/N) laughed at that one and I smirked. "Quick Kris think of a way out! Me and (Y/N) will do what we can here" I said to them. "Anything you smuggled in that might help us?" I asked either of the humans. "Missed me? Cuz I missed you" Lancer said through the mic. I smiled at the sound of his voice. "Lancer?! That you?" I asked. "I thought you ditched us" I added. "No! I love ditches but would never ditch you!" He said in his usual cheery voice. "I was simply relaxing in Kris' spacious pants hole" He said after in an odd tone. "Uhhh pocket" I told Lancer. "Yes! and I saw it all! Pants, lint, various items. A wild mom put you in some shock cages" He started listing off. "Heh yea, Hey did ya see us on the roller coaster?" I asked Lancer. "Yes it was amazing! My first coaster ride!" He exclaimed. "Haha I love getting nauseous with friends!" He added.

"Hey you should uh probably free us" I said to Lancer. "Oh right yes!" Lancer said. The door suddenly opened on our end. "Nice lets get outta here" I said to (Y/N) before leaving. "Kris hey!" I said seeing the blue skinned human. "Man Lancer your the best dude!" I added before giving him a high five. "Cmon Noelle and Ralsei are waiting" I added before Lancer started coughing. "Hey Lancer, you okay dude?" I asked him. "I-I'm fine, just very... cold" He said before falling to the ground. "Shit! Lancer you good?" (Y/N) asked running over. I did as well. "H-Hey what the hell?" I asked confused. "Are you okay dude? Lemme heal you" I said before focusing my energy into a small ball. "Th-thanks Susie but..." Lancer started talking. "Damn, it's not strong enough. Quick Kris let's find Ralsei maybe he can heal Lancer" I said a bit worriedly as I put him on my back.

"Wait wait! You two aren't going to leave without me right?" Berdly asked. "Uhhh yea we are" I said to the blue feathered bitch. "But Noelle, my damsel in distress! She must be- In distress and I cannot help her then" Berdly said sounding defeated. "Oh boo hoo, shut it" (Y/N) said. "Ugh fine you can come with us if SHUT UP!" I snapped. Berdly started following us as we left. "Looks like a puzzle think you can uh do it Kris?" I asked them. Kris nodded and started to do the puzzle finishing it with ease. "Yeah we got it!" I said happy for Kris. "W-What? Hey wait a second!" Berdly said confused. "Hahaha Kris figured it out before you" I said rubbing it in his face. "Well I just wanted to see Kris get the answer himself! It's called suspense Susan" Berdly said before walking to the next room. I rolled my eyes and walked into the next room. Kris proceeded to solve the next puzzle very easily.

"Whoops looks like Kris got it again" I said chuckling. "H-Huh?! Just wait a second! You just got lucky! It's just trial and error! The brute force method!" Berdly claimed. "I'm solving the next one so stay here!" He snapped. Me and (Y/N) both rolled our eyes. "Like that's ever gonna happen" (Y/N) said quoting Shrek and going into the next room. We came in to see Berdly complaining. "All the shapes don't go together..." He grumbled. "Oh hey! You just gotta fill it right? What if we just pile them all together in the corners?" I asked Berdly. "Wh-what?!" He asked. "Kris wanna try?" I asked. They then instantly went and solved the puzzle making Berdly's jaw drop wide in surprise. "S-SUSIE'S IDEA WORKED?! THERE'S NO WAY!" He shouted in anger. "Ha ha ha! How's it taste idiot?!" I asked Berdly. (Y/N) laughed with me. "Yea, Susie's way smarter than you ever could be bird brain!" (Y/N) taunted. "Man I'm gonna relish this forever. All those times you acted high and mighty, well guess what? Your not. Your just as big a dumbass as the rest of us!" I said still grinning. Berdly turned and faced the wall.

"...Fine I admit it. I... I'm not that smart. I never was" He admitted. "Pfft not hard to figure that out" (Y/N) joked making me laugh a bit. "SHUT UP!" He snapped. "I ADMITTED ARE YOU HAPPY?!" He asked. "I... I just.. I used to be just a forgettable little blue bird. No one even remembered my name. Then one day the spelling bee came up and I had studied so hard" He said almost choking on some of his words. "When it came down to the two of us.. She got nervous and couldn't speak. She lost. And I won" He said with great pride as if he got a Nobel peace prize. "That was when I tasted it... The praise, the glory! The ... SUPERIORITY! The addictive power of being smart! Since then year after year I've been number one in class. But only because Noelle helps me study" Berdly said finishing his little flashback. "She's the real smart kid" He admitted. "But everyone's expectations for me are so high now. What am I going to do once I go somewhere without her?" He asked. "That's why I wanted to make a new world for us. A world where we'll always be number 1 and number 2!" He said with a smile on his smug face before ending his little monologue and looking back at the floor. 

"I was so wrapped up in that I got tricked by Queen. And now Noelle is going to suffer because of it. Maybe I did just like being superior... maybe I am just an idiot" He sighed. "Don't cry Chicken-nugget-man! All of us are idiots too!" Lancer said. "Huh?" Berdly asked. "Wellllll-" (Y/N) started to say something but I cut him off. "I mean I dunno bout everyone else but... Whether your the smart kid or not, we couldn't care less" I said to Berdly "Screw up as much as you want honestly" I said with a slight chuckle. "Not like our opinion of you can get much wor-" Berdly cut me off. "Susie! Y-You'd accept me even if I were stupid?" Berdly asked. "Uhhh... yea I guess" I replied. "It's like when your sister gets cursed in DragonBlazers 2. Even if her stats suck she's still your party member" Susie said referencing a video game. "S-Susie... A real Dragon Blazers 2 reference?! Susie, your not only kind... but a true gamer too" Berdly said to her. "Perhaps I underestimated you..." He said seeming almost flustered. "Shut it" (Y/N) said. "Excuse me?" He asked. "SHUT IT!" (Y/N) snapped slashing his sword down right next to Berdly. Berdly's eyes widened. "Okay okay. Onward" He said walking to the next room.
