Chapter 19 The Party

Susie POV:

I looked at some black bed sheets that I had cut, they were old and useless so I decided it would work as a cape for my costume. I was gonna go as a vampire. I would've tried a box again but we didn't have any... it would've been awesome to upgrade the box to a tank though. I grabbed some of my dads old clothes and put those on. Some crumby ripped black jeans, a white shirt with some blood or hopefully just punch stains on it and a black coat. I then walked downstairs.

"Aye dad I'm gonna be goin to a party do ya mind?" I asked him. "S- are you going trick or treating again?" He asked. "Pfft nope I'm too old for that shit. I'm goin to a costume party. It's at that one girl uhh Noelle I think er name is. Either way it's at her mansion" I explained. "Alright well have fun" He said before going back to watching T.V on the old living room T.V box we had. I walked out and saw the large gates of Holiday manor. I then saw someone walk up to me. "Whoa, nice iron man costume" I said as the helmet even had glowing lights. "Thanks" They said before the mask part lifted up revealing (Y/N). "Sup?" He asked his voice more clear now. "Pffttt wow ya went all in ya Marvel nerd" I said chuckling.

"Eh it just seemed cool. I see your not going as a box this year" He said. "Heh yeah. Also it is pretty cool. So ya wanna head in then?" I asked him. "Sure" He replied holding my hand making me blush a bit. We both walked in and I let go of his hand before knocking on the door. "O-Oh hello Susie! Oh.. and (Y/N). How nice to see you too" She said her smile fading a bit upon seeing him. I also noticed it was seeming a bit fake, and I know a fake smile.

(Y/N) POV:

When I heard Noelle say my name her voice seemed a bit less then happy and her smile faded a bit. "... Ohhh she's jealous" I thought in my head. I walked in and we then decided to get a quick drink. Honestly the place was pretty awesome. Cob webs everywhere, smoke machines, a disco ball. It was awesome but I didn't expect much less from Noelle considering her parents were loaded. The outside looked nice too, pumpkins literally everywhere. I then looked around and back at Susie before stroking her cheeks.

"N-Nerd" She said with a blush before I grabbed her hands making both of us blush before we quickly kissed. I just smiled at her and then we looked into each other's eyes. I couldn't see Susie's but I wanted too. I brushed her hair aside and looked into her eyes. Susie had pink cheeks from a blush. "You should wear your hair back more often" I said with a smile as I looked up into her eyes. "Ya told me you absolute nerd. Now, ya saw ma eyes or whatevs" Susie said before shaking her head making the hair fall back into her face. I sighed. "Alright, hmm well wanna uh dance for a sec? Maybe even kiss once or twice?" I asked Susie. "Pfftt nah, I don't want everyone knowin" Susie replied.

I then stood up. "Hmm wait I got a fun idea" Susie said smirking. "Huh?" I asked. "Hehe, wanna fly dork?" She asked making me pale a bit. "Susie that's not a g-" I was cut off as she picked me up. "Nah just kiddin" She said then twirling around once with me in her arms before setting me down. "I would never toss ya" Susie said comfortingly. "Thanks, I'd rather not be tossed at the chandelier" I said. "Heh I dunno how ya knew where I was aimin but that's cool" She stated. I just shrugged and we continued on with the party.

After a little while of eating, talking, compliments and fun me and Susie decided to go dance for a little bit. Just a bit. I held Susie's hand as we walked to the middle of the room. "SUSIE LOOK OUT!" I heard a voice yell before I looked up. Time seemed to slow down as Susie tackled me and then I hit the ground before hearing a loud CRASH! The chandelier had fallen because the chain snapped.

Susie POV:

I heard my name and look out and on instinct tackled (Y/N) to keep him safe. "Heh, good thing for my fast reflexes or we'd be sliced under there" I said with a smirk as I got off of (Y/N) blushing a bit. "Heh, yeah and thanks to Noelle for warning us" He said. "Yeah, aye Uh Noelle. Thanks. Ya a real life saver" Susie said making her smile widely. "N-No problem Susie! A-Anything for you!" Noelle said smiling. "I uh okay everyone party is over. Get moving cuz I gotta clean this up before mom gets home. So glad you all could make it!" Noelle said with a cheery attitude. (Y/N) and I were about to walk out before the deer monster touched my shoulder.

"Huh? Oh hey. Ya need somethin?" I asked her. "Erm I just... I wanted to say congrats on being with (Y/N)... he's a great guy and all and well he's lucky to have you" She said to me. "Huh? Oh ya... ohhhh. I... I'm sorry to say this but ya... never really had much chance with me. I ain't gay or whatever. 100% straight" Susie clarified. Her expression faded. "Butttt, I'm sure you'll find the right girl for you. Someone's out there arright? Keep lookin" I encouraged. She nodded and a slight smile came to her face. "Okay" Noelle said before walking off. I took (Y/N)'s hand and led him out of the mansion.

"Heh, what a night huh?" I asked him. "Yeah you said it" (Y/N) said. "Welp that was fun. Can't wait to have more fun with you ya lil dork" I said giving him a toothy smirk. "Same here Susie! I'll see you some time tomorrow!" he said. "Heh yeah, see ya then handsome dork" I said. "See you there beautiful girl" He said before we split ways and looked back once before finally separating to get to each other's separate houses.
