Chapter 13 Thoughts and Confessions

(Y/N) POV:

I woke up and then slid my legs over my bed. I looked around and then walked downstairs. "How could I tell Susie about how I feel? I feel so... so nice around her and like I mean something for once. I feel like she's attractive and nice and.... not at all who I thought she was..." I thought in my head. I sat down and started to eat a little bit. It was the weekend so luckily I had some time to think about everything, and my dad was home. I took a deep breath. "Uh dad I got some uh questions for you... about uh something" I said a bit anxiously. "Okay what's up?" He asked. "Well uh can we go to my room first?" I asked him. "Sure" He replied before we walked upstairs.

Susie POV:

I woke up and looked at the roof work I did just last night. No leaks anymore. "Heh guess I did a good job" I said with a slight smirk before getting out of bed. I walked downstairs and sighed as I poured a bowl of cereal and then ate some toast. Tons of thoughts ran rampant through my head. I thought about (Y/N), how he saved me in the dark world, how he was my friend, how nice he was, how great of a person he was... it all filled me with this feeling I had no idea about. I had never felt it before.

Whenever I was around him I felt the urge to give him a hug or I would feel my face heat up at any compliment he gave me. It was all so strange, so new. I sighed and put my head down on the table. "What the 'ell is wrong with me?" I asked myself before looking back up and seeing my dad. "Oh uh hey..." I said as I started to eat again. "Susie is something up?" He asked. I gulped my food down. "Nah dad" I replied with a casual grin. I then thought for a second. "Uh dad... uhm I got a question" I said before starting to eat again. "Is it about a guy?" He asked before I almost choked. "Ack *Cough cough* U-Uh m-maybe" I said. "Heh, okay time to have a talk Susie" He said sitting down. "Why was he being so nice?" I asked myself before he started to talk.

(Timeskip)

I had changed into my nicer clothes, the ones I had wore to the resturaunt that one time me and (Y/N) hung out. I then walked out the door and over to his house. I sighed and took a long deep breath. I then knocked on (Y/N)'s house door. He had invited me over. I rubbed the back of my neck and waited anxiously. (Y/N) opened the door wearing some nice clothing. "Hello S-Susie uh come in" He said with a slight smile. "Look I urhm got something to tell you (Y/N)" I said as I felt my face heat up. "Sure Susie, uh what is it?" He asked. I took one more deep breath "(Y/N)IgotsomeoddfeelingsandIloveyou!" I blurted out immediately before covering my mouth. He stood there, his mouth agape. "I-I" He then just hugged me tightly. "I can say the same about you!" He said eagerly. "S-Seriously?!" I asked with a huge grin as I felt my tail wag. "Yes!" He exclaimed. "O-Oh my gosh... w-wow uh didn't expect that" I said with a grin and trying to brush it off.

"W-Well come in" He said, his face red as a tomato. I nodded and walked in. We both sat down at a table with a single candle lit. "Ooh fancy" I said. "Yeah it's nice but not as nice as you" He complimented. "H-Hey, ya gonna make me blush" I complained. "Heh well your face is very hot" He replied. "Staaahp we're not even like er a thing yet... are we?" I asked. "Erm well uh Susie would you like to try and be my girlfriend?" (Y/N) asked. "Yes!" I blurted almost immediately. "Well there we go, we're a thing" He said after. He came back with 2 steaks. "Damn, ya cook these?" I asked. "Me? Pffft hell no my mom did" he said with a chuckle. "Bold of you too assume I can cook" He added. "Eh I can sooo ya know what whatever" I said before starting to eat. 

"Damn this is great, but ya greater dork" I complimented. "Hey your getting the hang of this" He said giving me a thumbs up. "Heh yeah I guess" I said with a slight grin. Every few seconds I would look up at (Y/N) and blushed as I noticed several times he'd do the same to me. We both finished eating around the same time and only because I kept getting distracted. "Soo what now?" I asked. "Erm... could we kiss again please?" (Y/N) asked blushing. I covered my face and blushed. "A-Alright fine but only cuz ya asked so nice" I said before we walked over to each other. I looked down and then smiled a little bit before giving (Y/N) a kiss. He kissed back and then brushed the hair out of my eyes before putting his hand on my cheek. I blushed and wrapped mine around him.

(Y/N) POV:

I felt Susie's arms wrapped around me and felt safe in her grasp, like nothing could hurt us. No nightmare, no serial killer, nothing as long as I was with her. She made me feel safe and loved and important. I continued kissing for 5 minutes till we broke off. "H-Heh uh yeah we're totally a thing now dork" Susie said with a grin, an honest happy grin. "You should smile more often Susie, and maybe even brush your hair out of your eyes. It makes you look hella cute" I said with a blush. Susie blushed too. "E-Erm shush d-dork. And ya should smile too, makes ya look cute" She replied. I just chuckled a little "I can try, but school doesn't make it easy, but being with you does" I said before Susie swept me up and carried me to the couch. "Pfft ya sucha dork... and dorks are ma weakness apparently" Susie said before sitting down. "So what should we watch?" She asked. "Each other" I said before looking into her eyes. "I uh heh fine dork" She said before snuggling with me.
