Rachel's pov...
Jacob walked in peeved.
" Sweetheart?" I called and he immediately faked a smile," how did it go, did you talk to her?"
" Yes, I did," he answered, passing me and entering the living room.
" What did she say?" I asked curiously, as I followed him behind.
" It's just her business that has not been going well," he answered and sat on a sofa.
" Are you sure?" I couldn't even trust him, especially with how peeved he looked.
Jacob was a terrible liar, and I could read it clearly on his face that he was trying to hide something.....
"Yes, don't worry," he assured me, pulling me to sit next to him.
" But couldn't she have told me?" I worried, furrowing my brows.
" You know how your sister is, she doesn't share her problems easily, it wasn't that easy for her to even tell me," he convinced and I nodded, believing him because I knew exactly how Leah was.
I remember when we were still at school, she would be bullied, but never tell our parents, it took her closest friend, to know what she was going through.
And I assumed even in that situation, it was the same.

Leah's pov...
" Good morning sister?" Rachel greeted me, as I was sweeping my compound.
" Good morning," I answered, hardly sparing her a glance.
" Jacob told me everything... I feel really bad," she spoke and I stopped sweeping to give her all the attention.
" You expected me to be happy?" I exclaimed in annoyance.
" But why didn't you tell me, am your sister Leah,"
" Oh just shut up, how many men came to ask for your hand in marriage after Jacob and I got married, couldn't you have accepted any of them? And here you are telling me no sense of telling you, what did you want me to tell you?" I stormed.
" What are you talking about?" She asked looking at me confused.
" What Jacob told you," I answered, not buying her pretense.
" He told me your business hasn't been performing well, that is why you always look disturbed, but now you are losing me, I don't know what you mean by what you said," she explained, shrugging her shoulders.
How dare he lie, I never told him that, I know he did it to protect her feelings, but I don't care. She has to know where we stand because I can't continue faking smiles.....
" He lied to you, I never told him anything about my business, I told him the problem I have is you," I cleared for her.
" Me?" astonishment was head in her voice, "how am I the problem?"
" Oh, you don't know that you have broken my home? Couldn't you have gotten married to someone else? Jacob is the only man that accepted to marry me, couldn't you have forgotten about him and got married to someone else? Why are you this selfish Rachel," I exclaimed.
" Are you listening to yourself right now Leah? Jacob was supposed to marry me at first, but because of our stupid tradition, I had to improvise, so why in the world would you tell me such no sense?" She asked annoyed.
" Exactly what am talking about, you are selfish," I pointed at her.
" Oh really? Sharing my man was selfish right?" She challenged.
" Give me a break, for the two weeks you have been in this house, have you ever allowed him to come to my house, he sleeps in your house every day, when am also his wife!" I told her and I saw guilty shallow her.
" You stayed with him for six years," she cried.
" And so? You will never change Rachel, it's just in you to always be self-centered, you want the world to think you are a good person, but you are not," I told her and walked away annoyed.
