Rachel's pov...
I entered Leah's living room and found her on the couch crying.
" Leah?" I called and she turned to look at me.
" What do you want?" She asked looking at me peeved.
" Here is k1500, use it for the children," I said, handing her the money.
She glanced at the money and back at me, as my hand was still stretched to her.
Yes, Leah, I know things are not right between us, but I love you, and seeing you crying is the last thing I want.
I will do all I can to make you happy.
" Do you think am a fool?" She asked.
" No, take the money, I mean it," I said and sat next to her, "Leah, am your sister, I am not your enemy, I remember when mother asked how I would feel if Jacob decided to marry us both, I said I would be ok because it was my sister.
Being co-wives doesn't make us enemies,"
" Are you done?" She sassed, "you don't have to pretend, I don't need your money or your sympathy.
" Leah," before I could finish, she spoke,
" get out of my house," she said calmly but peeved.
" I just want to help you," I tried to calm her down, but she pushed me.
" I said get out!" She shouted.
" Am sorry," I said and walked out.

I was standing by the door, waiting for Jacob to come back from work.
How dare he do that?
I was very upset with him, I thought we agreed that we would help Leah, but his behavior wasn't helping?
He arrived and found me pacing around.
" Hi sweetie," he greeted, ignoring my expression and tried to kiss me, but I moved.
" what's wrong?" He asked glaring at me.
" Babe, why did you refuse to give Leah money for her children's school fees?" I questioned, returning his glare.
He sighed and walked inside, making me more annoyed.
" I asked you a question!" I shouted, following him behind.
" Your sister is just dramatic," he entered sitting on the couch.
" No baby, you are not been fair to her," I said crossing my hands, as I stood looking at him angrily.
He pulled me to seat,
" you know I never loved your sister and I only married her because of you, for the six years I have been with her, I have learned to accept her as my wife and respect her.
I can never run away from my duties especially when it involves my children," he explained calmly staring at me.
" So you gave her the money?" I asked lost.
" School fees are paid at the beginning of a term, I paid everything last month when the term was beginning, so I don't know why your sister is doing all this," he complained.
" So she was lying," I said not also understanding why she was acting the way she was.
" Am I going to get my kiss now," he ignored, making me smile.

Leah's pov...
" I sent you an hour ago, where were you?" I asked Abigail who had just arrived.
" Mummy I didn't find the veggies at any nearby shop, so I went to the market," she answered looking at me fearfully because I was holding a stick.
" You have started lying!" I exclaimed and began hitting her.
Rachel and Jacob came running to save her.
" What happened," Rachel asked after pulling Abi away.
" Just stay out of this, she is not your daughter!" I shouted, trying to pull Abi back, but she took her.
" Leah behave!" Jacob shouted pushing me.
" Just leave me alone, she is my daughter!" I shouted pushing Jacob away.
" Leah!" He shouted and slapped me.
" Jacob no!" Rachel shouted, trying to pull him away with one hand, as the other one was holding Abi.
" You did.... not just... Hit me," I cried holding my cheek.
" I will do it again if you don't behave," he threatened, as Rachel stood between us to prevent him from touching me.
" Sorry Leah, please don't cry!" Rachel shouted as I was running away.
" You shouldn't have done that," she pointed at Jacob and carried Abi to walk away.
" am sorry," he shouted, following her behind.
